I'm a Canes fan but still we shouldn't have done that. But it wasn't just Miami...FIU was part of the fight too so you can't blame it ALL on Miami. I say it was both teams fault. Still I'm dissapointed in what our team did...we lacked sportsmanship then. Now our team has changed with Randy Shannon as our coach and we're going to be a good team soon (I got season tickets for Canes game this year)

No one condones Miami for doing what they did, but when you grow up in places like most of these kids did, its not a huge suprise when something like this happens. I think its more like 18 or 20 that are actually listed as from MIami...but what about right around Miami? Coral Gables...Fort Lauderdale...Hialea...yeah, thats more like 39 or 40 just like it was last season. I'm not saying everyone on the team is straight off the streets of Miami. All I'm saying is A LOT of these kids grew up in some pretty rough areas.

Counted em. It is 15, and over half of the roster is from North Fla or other Southern States. You can keep arguing it, but Miami doesn't say rough area. If your point is that they grew up in rough areas, then that is completely independent of them being from Miami. Atlanta, New Orleans, Mobile, and many other crime-ridden cities contributed players to this team. So quit thinking it, and COUNT EM.

And,I did count them,straight out of a program that I bought at a Miami football game last season. So, if u want me to list each player, where they're from and how close that is to Miami, I can do that for you. I'm not making excuses for these guys, bc this was an embarrassment to every Miami fan. Regardless, I love my Canes and hope 2009 is our year!
