this jus shows you it took a jamaican to start what the americans call their culture music hip hop did any one know tHAT ...... JAMAICANS CAME TO MERICA AND STARTED HIP HOP JUS LIKE THIS BUT THIS SHOWS YOU THE ORIGINAL WAY REGGAE DANCEHALL CHATING....
exactly. people fail to realise that the original DeeJay from jamaica is the whole foundation for american hip hop... i forget the guys name but he actually started that hip hop style when he first got to new york after hittn florida from jamaica
Easy guys... This video is from the early 80s. American hip hop was OG late 70s. I could give a shit cuz I like anythig ragga better but give credit where credit is due. BIG UP BURRO B! RASpect!
Jamaicans have been rapping/chatting over instrumental beats since the 60s. U-Roy, King Stitt, Count Machuki and other cats like that started atleast a decade before some of the first hip-hop sounds. And a Jamaican dude named Bullwackies Barnes who moved to the Bronx recorded one of the first "hip-hop" songs in the 70s.
