I was surprised at how he got caught by Cantwell in his first defense. Stann has tons of potential. If he gets some more experience in WEC, I could see him in the UFC very shortly. However, I don't think he has the ability to fight a Forrest Griffin or a Wanderlei Silva at this point in time.

He went out as he threw one last punch ...It never occured to me, however, how one-dimensional Stann is... awesome takedown defense, but he barely threw a kick and no shots to body. I was surprised at how he got caught by Cantwell in his first defense. Stann has tons of potential. If he gets some more experience in WEC, I could see him in the UFC very shortly. However, I don't think he has the ability to fight a Forrest Griffin or a Wanderlei Silva at this point in time.

wow... Stann never gave up. He went out as he threw one last punch ...It never occured to me, however, how one-dimensional Stann is... awesome takedown defense, but he barely threw a kick and no shots to body. His head attacks became pretty predictable, and his method of closing the distance was rushing in to meet cantwell's fist. I hope works on his arsenal and game plan to comeback ten times more dominant and regain the title.
