hi what gyro u got on it cuz i have a belt cp v2 an it dont fly like that m8t but nice i AM IN LOVE with ur heli plz can u tell me what transmitter u have ? and are the servos tower pro ? can u email darrenjohnson79@hotmail.co.uk
Can you help me to find Esky scale fuselages for my Belt CP? I didn't find it on Ekys website.. If you give me a webshop domain, is good for me too. Thank you...
I noticed from your other posts that you use a mixed CNC/plastic head. Do you also have a head lock gyro? What other electronic/mechanical extras are on it? It is the smoothest flying Esky belt CP I've seen. Most others are quite twitchy. Of course, if you're an expert flyer you can make anything hover well. How you fly around your backyard is what I'm trying to achieve, but I'm still in the novice/crash mode.
I ended up using the CNC swash out of frustration with the original plastic swash which had too much runout. CNC swash came from my crashed Honeybee King. The BCP V2 has a half CNC swash as std, like the Blade400.
Yes it has a headlock gyro, not an expensive one mind, £40 EFlite, same as Blade400, much better than the ESky rate gyro, but it does drift a bit.
I'm far from an expert flyer, figure 8's round the park gets my pulse going!
The best thing I did to smooth out the flying was to get a DX6i, 2.4Gig computer radio, a bit of expo and some pitch/throt curve tweaks really help to calm the heli down and make it more managable.
The added weight of the FG fuselage makes it less twitchy aswell.
Yeah I got the barebones kit, motor, servo's, ESC, gyro and reciever I already had in my spares box. RTF BeltCP is about £200 IRC (but the RTF EFlite Blade 400 3D is much better).
Good job! Congratulation!

one question; why didn't you cut out the nose windows? (you've blacked them out)
Great job with the modifications, it looks great!

@Jaliya48
Would've weakened the nose too much (this thing was already pretty flimsy!). Besides, there's no scale detail to see inside anyway.
helimeal 1 year ago
@helimeal Oh, makes sense! Very nice fuse, you should do the Airwolf fuse as well!

Depends where you are, best if you just google "ESky Bell 222 fuselage" you should be able to find it easy enough.

Tnx for the video !

Did you really build it from the beginning or just made the paint work ?
This job really deserves a compliment, very nice work.

I intended to just improve battery access, but ended up making alot more improvements - including paint.

AWESOME and inspiring build!!!
I've been considering a purchase of the Esky Bell 222 or the Hughes 500.
This vid has made up my mind!
