that was episode 11 when OTH had a 1940/1950's set up and Peyton died (but of course, that was only Lucas' dream--thank God). Peyton just got off the phone with Lucas when she fell down from a sudden pain. It was when OTH left us with the worse cliffhanger (they had their hiatus for a month making us wait that long remember?) and some thought Peyton have cancer but it turned out that she's pregnant (yay!). But this also let the viewers foresee the complications in Peyton's pregnancy :-(

You know, what makes me upset is that Peyton says to Brooke that she said, "No" to Lucas but what she really said was, "I want to marry you...someday." It wasn't even a "NO."

It was Lucas' fault at the most part because he couldn't wait for her...and then the whole Season 5 was messed up with Leyton.

I'm totally team Peyton and know Luke royally screwed up from 507-517...but I agree with "gottaloveit". The fact that she didn't wanna marry him yet was basically her saying an indirect "no" to his proposal. She coulda said "yes" and said to set a date for a year from then. but she said "in a year"/"someday". She also admitted in s5 that she wasn't ready/scared. Peyton understands her part in their messed up situation in season 5. Both she AND lucas screwed up their relationship in season 5...
