This was supposed to be the last year of childhood for me, however, my family ran into devastating issues and I looked back to one year ago and realized something. All of us do not show it, but you can not hide that we are all scare. The world lies before us. You can look at your friends in first grade, then you blink. When you open you're eyes your in high school writing an essay for college submissions. Another blink and you're at the altar saying your vows. Moments after that...your bringing your own child to college. When you think back on all those years, there is so much you want to change. So much more you wanted to do in the world. Life is a climb.

My grandpa just past away last thursday. He was 99 he passed peacfully at home in his sleep. When I found out this song came to mind. 7 children, 31 grand children, 81 great grand children,8 great great grand children. Rest in peice Grandpa you deserve it

ive been feeling depressed alot latley and yesterday night it reached a climax to a point where i thought the better part of my life was over and there really wasnt a point in living from here on out. im only 15 but at this age theres alot of stress on you, maybe more then parents believe, the stress in school and in social life is hard. escpecially when you have everyone in your life expecting great things from you, its really hard on a person,i woke up this morning humming this song

We had to listen to this song in AP English class and write about it after. All i did was think of how my life is going by so fast. I'll be a Senior soon and honestly, when my teacher told us that we'll be signing up for our classes next year, my heart kind of sank knowing my HS life is coming to an end.

This is the kind of song that gives me a lump in my throat, because I may be young but I feel like I'm wasting my life because I know my parents will die one day, and I'll be moving out, and I still don't want to grow up. I want to stay a kid forever, but time is passing by way to quickly, and I'm scared. This song scares me because of how quick time passes. I feel lost already. But the song is beautiful.

But hey, I'm going to honor the fact he was in the Army, I'm trying to work towards getting in the Navy SEALs.
