@PabasamDee as I understand, the uk and au wii are the same thing. i live in australia and sometimes we get uk wii games...literally theres a sticker for the australian ratings classification on the box but if you take out the cover art paper from the box you'll see its all uk prints with uk ratings printed and the sticker's just TRYING to cover it. so it definitely works with wii games but im not sure if thats the case with gamecube games. ive only been here a few years.

It may but remember your US cube may not be able to process all the Japanese text.

It may work but undertand that in some games your Wii will not understand all of the Japanese text it will show the text for the menus and stuff but the text where the character text may not appear or come out wrong. But that is only a problem if you know Japanese and want to know what they are saying.

I tried it with F-Zero the other day, It works, but for some reason, theres no text on screen in the game for some reason.

Thats because you Wii has a English processer, basically only games from the US were ment to be played on it. Even when I plaey a game from Japan called Konjiki no Gash Bell I had a similar problem to your my text came out wrong like it does when the computer doesn't understand Japanese text.
