That is an absolute work of art!, like fine jewellery. Well done sir!. I'm just sitting here with my mouth wide open. Those uni joints are tiny!, were they made under a microscope?.
I now see that you say the fuel is turpentine. Do you mix any alcohol with the turpentine or is there a "specification" for the turpentine used (light, heavy ?? from pine , fir , spruce??) or does it matter to the engine?
Good job! What fuel is used? Can it run on crude oil right from the oil well ( after separating any water out of the crude ?) I have seen some large hot-head engines (Bessemer) in Arkansas, United States that claim to run on crude oil and they were in the right place to have had an easy time getting a cheap supply of it . Thank you for posting this video .I will subscribe to that
Absolutely stunning engineering, it amazes me how even your single cylinder machines run so smoothly at such low rpm. This horizontaly opposed engine appeals to me especially though. Thank you for sharing.
@ Bobbymitchell10 Thank you for your comment. Yes I build this engine 2008, inspired of a Blackstone double opposed cylinder engine built 1905, but I hat to make my own hot bulb and injection system to get the engine to run properly, because you can not scale down a "big hot bulb engine" to a small model engine.
Beautiful.
