I heard this in the 1980's during a radio transmission of a life concert in Munich. And I was literally dumbfounded about the beauty and charm of this very music.
Now I find it here again, and finally learn what it is exactly (just knew "Buxtehude")
For Those in search of the Lyrics: "benedicam Dominum in omni tempore" - I will praise the Lord at all times. "semper laus ejus in ore meo" - his praise shall always be in my mouth. "In Domino lætabitur anima mea" - My soul will boast in the Lord. "Audiant mansueti et lætentur" - let the afflicted hear and rejoice.
i dunno what's wrong...but youtub's still not approving the 2nd part... iv already tried doing different things... different versions ...different cuts... haaaaaaaaaaaaaaay :-c
very beautiful! i listened to this with rapture hehe. i think it BENEDICAM DOMINVM means "good lord (?)". please post the other pieces from this magnificent "abendmusik" of buxtehude :D
this is just the 1st half. i've posted the 2nd part ryt after this but utube seems to have a problem... :-c ...it's been pending review for 2 days now...
BEAUTIFUL. please keep classical music alive through the Internet. Of course, listening to these wonderful compositions on the radio, on CD or on the Internet is no substitute for hearing them LIVE.
danke für das Hochladen.
