I had been reading the comic strip this cartoon was based on,and although it was called,"Barney Google and Snuffy Smith,"I hardly saw Barney Google.But in this cartoon Barney was in many of the episodes-along with a horse named Spark Plug,who was depicted as Snuffy's horse-but whom I now know began as Barney Google's race-horse in the original comic strip-way back in 1922.(Barney didn't meet Snuffy until 1934.)
