I really don't understand the buff for priests. My main is a disc priest and before the patch i dont know a single healer out of our guild (10man) that could even come close to my healing.. I dont feel as though disc was underpowered in the first place, but please buff my sheilds by about 10000000x and everything else by like 100x. My healing went from about 15% more than the other healers, to about 25%. I find it kinda cute to be doing 72% of the healing done in a 10man raid. lolol get ripped.

hi. i know some kid named sashyr. hes in my guild. hes new. he raids with us. he used to be survival and top dps charts with pvp gear/lvling gear. now hes marks when patch came out. he does more dps now. thanks blizzard! nerf one spec, over buff the other...really smart.

Just wondering, but why did Blizz nerf SV? I know their numbers were higher than most other specs in normal mode raiding, but if you look at the hard mode samples, where people have much better gear, SV drops to roughly 6th or 7th on the list. Just seems like they should've taken scaling into account.

In case it hasn't been mentioned: Shadow Priests are indeed seeing a fairly substantial buff (most are reporting 2k dps increases) and Mastery is no longer the bottom-of-the-barrel stat. Good things happened this patch, methinks.

Ummm, have you run with a mage recently? If theyre below the tank, theyre arcane. If theyre slightly above the tank, theyre frost. If theyre pulling respectable numbers, theyre fire.

I personally see the UH changes as mostly a buff, mostly because our Mastery actually does something good for once and it's not a wasteful stat, DC does more damage along with the Shadow Damage from SS, can't forget about the BP though, great buff from that one little thing

@darkstar1334 It's a damage nerf, because between the ghoul nerf, UM nerf, and a few others we are taking a hit, but it's very very minor, the stats make it look like an ass trashing while it's honestly not too much, overall though assuming a passive mastery (reforged away like in 4.0.3a) of 10, we are supposed to be doing a bit less. No reason to stop meter topping =)

I got hold of this show a couple of weeks ago and watch it because Lore has quite a substantial amount of experience and insight to the game to offer. watching a 10min video instead of reading over the changes for 5min (which have been out for SOME time now.....) isn't that cool. any kid in 2nd grade who hasn't ever heard of wow could do this video. better show next time and you'll get a new subscriber :P

Thanks Lore for the rundown as I can not access the notes from work. Sucks that LoH causes Forbearance again.....really only applies during PvP stuff as I never use DS during a dungeon or raid. However during PvP stuff LoH then having the ability to hit DS during a particularly large ganking can be quite useful. Oh well we do get an interrupt now! YEA!
