  • I dont think i will be owning slings now

  • How do you heat your slings? Im ordering an h lividum sling and need to know? just raise house temp to 70? Im in WA so it isnt very hot in the summer on some days.

  • @alwayzsure

I put them in a warm room. You need at least 75F for that lividum to be happy

  • im actually surprised no PETAphiles negatively commented on this video

  • @MrMarine44100 THATS BECAUSE NO ONE IN PETA WOULD GIVE A FUCK ABOUT AN ANIMAL EATING AN ANIMAL, THESE ANIMALS DON'T HAVE THE CHOICE TO AVOID MEAT, YOU WON'T HEAR PETA BITCH IF YOU FEEDING YOUR CAT CATFOOD WITH FISH IN IT!

I used to be "PetaKids SuperStar" I DO THIS FOR MY SLINGS! The crickets die pretty fast with out their heads. The T's HAVE TO eat meat, you don't.

Thats why you wont see Peta people complaining on here.

    Have a nice day.

  • Thats some missed shit like ripping in half ur fucking crazy

  • @overallninja

yes, it's messed up shit.. but honestly, I would love to hear what other ideas do you have to try and feed 30 baby tarantulas are half inch that are afraid to accept moving prey?

  • i hate the smell of crushing crickets :)

  • that's not crushing! thats peeling! lol

  • The crickets deserved it. I hate crickets. >:|

  • poor cricket lol

  • lol wen im feedn my slings i sum times av adult crickets,i crush dere head wit a tong and drop dem in d vials etc d Ts love it, its horrible tho

  • poor cwicket :( nice vid tho

  • ya, i feel bad too, the little ones cant take 1-day old crickets

  • Oh can I Buy IT. PPPPPPPPLLLLLLLLLLZZZZZZ

  • I can only sell in Canada only, I cannot ship to the US

  • That sucks. Cool ts though.

  • i know, the problems is that customs will stop it from reaching you

  • how much would shipping be

  • somewhere in the 10-30 range estimate since I do need to do express shipping. I can only send within canada, need permits to ship elsewhere since these are venomous animals

  • Ok. Crap i live in the U.S. Right on the boarder in massena, new york.

  • The slings i've had have always accepted live pinhead crickets... guess it varies by species.

  • Why dont you use micro-crickets? They are just 1 or 2 mm big.

  • I tried, most of them ignored them

  • AWSOME! i totaly want a T gigas! orange tree spiders at the reptile show, slings fore thirty bucks.

  • i had to kill some crickets too :( for my little spider i had but it didn't eat so i gave it to my little centipede

  • I did, most of them ignored it

  • ok, maybe not all T´s find them to their likings! I used them with succes with avicularia and with decent succes with pokies.

  • Cool vid...good advice..!

  • Great advice :) Shame we can't buy one of the ts off you. Chris :)

  • I just go down to the fishing store and get 1/2 pint of feeder (squat) maggots, they are tiny and extremely cheep (crickets are £3 for a small tub aprox 50, maggots are £0.70 for half a pint, aprox 1000), slings love them. but you have to be careful to remove them if not eaten as they could hatch into flies which could harm your sling.

  • good video good advice

  • Hey Jon

dont you have mealworms in Canada? They work aswell. House flies can be used also.

  • yes i can get mealworms here. They're a bit too large to feed them at this stage, they'll be good when they reach 4th instar, these are 2nd

  • Hey Jon

When it gets summer in Canada you can use normal house flies, they are free of charge and very popular with small T´s.

  • thanks

  • cool hope that goes all good for u and i was just wondering i live in australia and have started with my first t and yea cant really get her to eat much u got any ideas

  • which T is it

  • I just use the tongs to crush the crickets.

  • ya its better strategy lol

  • hey jon wats the furthest that u have shipped a t??

  • never ship any, this will be my first experience, I can only sell in Canada

  • 1 More thing.....Why are'nt you using B. Dubia ever??? I know everybody hates crickets and was just surprised with the amount that you feed that you would not have a B. Dubia colony started. Just curious is all. Thanks again for the vids !!!!

  • My parents don't like the idea of having roaches in the house, but they're okay with the crickets

  • That was great. Good thinking...

I kept giggling them the first cricket's leg was twitching... Hehe.

    5/5

  • LOL :)

  • Awesome videos Jon ! Are you also an oldsmobile fan? If so PM me and I can tell you some awesome stories !

  • i love oldsmobiles. I got the rare supercharged LSS

  • i would chew up the cricket in my mouth until its like oatmeal and then spit it into the mouth of the T

  • lol

  • thats awesome Jon. i guess as you progress through anything you figure out little tips and tricks

  • lol every time i try to crush them they just explode on me
