I gotta say, I think Doodle's and Andy's middle names are awesome. A middle name is neat in that you don't really have to share it if you don't like it. But Those are some kick ass names.

We lucked out in this house. On the lawn part of the property there aren't many leaf dropping trees, mostly pine needles. We don't bother doing anything with the pine needles. The make the place look park like to me and they don't kill off the grass.

That's a lot of leaves. Since they have a special way to pick them up, maybe they compost them. We just mow them up with the grass and it works fine.That all gets composted. I hate that you guys are still (again?) sick. It sucks. Someone above suggested vicks - it helps a lot.

So sorry to hear about you not feeling good but I feel ya Girl! If it ain't one thing it's another...had to take son back to Doc today and she says it's either the beginning of the flu or a 2 day virus going around! On top of that...I ain't feeling to hot myself! Wow, you just rack those leaves onto the curb...here they make you put them in bags. Cool names for the kids...I know about naming after relatives. My daughters middle name is my Mom's. ;)

Here in GR people have to buy special orange 'leaf bags' and you put them out with your trash and they get picked up. Im not sure how much they cost because we live in an Apt. complex and have never had to do it. I'll share with you how we got TJ's cough under control, maybe it will be worth a try for your son. Hot tea with lemon and honey and lots of it along with Vicks and the vaporizer all day and night. It seems to hang on for a long time it was like 3 weeks for TJ. :-( Feel better!

Eeeeek...Man Hands. I so want to jump in those leaves! I love big earth moving equipment. I went to Caterpillar expo once to see all their big equipment they had on display. They had dump trucks that were enormous.

Interesting how you picked the boys names. Mathis was my mother in laws maiden name.
