@StareGlareSilence A piano can be considered both a string instrument and a percussion instrument due to the strings inside that vibrate create the sounds, much as a violin/viola/cello's strings do when the bow is ran over them, and also because of the hammers that strike the strings to create the sound.

But yes, it is a very beautiful combination of violin and piano.
