  • There exist no audience for this on the internet. Its a good video, but the only people that need this information... well, don't have computers.

  • @ACR4V3N I'm a backpacker and hiker. these stoves are light and cheap, and fuel is readily available. I've received many notes from fellow hikers on this topic. Not sure what you're referring to.

  • hobo called he wants his stove back

  • @eujeeves thats funny

  • viola zippo

  • hi im george boons

  • i farted

  • homeless incorporated providing all you needs for living on the streets

  • what kinda fuel was it?

  • @rextar23 that was isopropyl alcohol from the drug store, methyl alcohol works better though

  • @rextar23 just rubbing alcohol. Works better the methyl-alcohol

  • Not too shabby.

  • @vistigioful thanks - yah, amazing what you can put together with some cans. The Cottle stove is my favorite in this category

  • You shouldn't keep your can of fuel so close to the flame. This kind of fuel has fumes that can be ignited from a certain distance. It is way too close in this video.

  • @HepCatJack that's a great point - thanks!

  • jets? lol.

  • can u make a tutorial plz?

  • `COUPLE OF LITRES OF WATER,CYEAHH!!!!!

  • `COUPLE OF LITRES OF WATER,CYEAHH!!!!!

    SUCH A DOOCH

  • X-men in the background?

  • @001jbear yah, good movie

  • playing with fire. ALWAYS a good idea. :)

  • @TheEvilOtakuAFG7 clearly I agree!

  • haha ur watching Xmen lol where wolverine meets rogue lol funny

  • you see it is getting darker,,

i think he is waiting for it to boil all day....

  • what's the frame that the pot is sitting on made out of?? it looks like lead wiring or solder, but those would melt... solder for sure

  • youre a dumbass.... this is perfect for camping... anarchyjackass.. haha fag

  • ow and nice video. i mae a stove like this my self. =]

  • yah, that was a fun little stove - a mod of a few I've seen....not sure the mods were all that effective. The wick was totally useless. I mainly like how this style of stove burns like a gas burner in your kitchen. As long as you don't push the inner can to deep in the outer can. I need to post some directions on my website.

  • your a fucking twat. people do what to know how to do stuff like this when they go camping and stuff. if you dont like it why fucking watch it. fagot

  • ghetto

  • I Think You May What To Do That OutSide

    (Common Sence)

  • That is probably some very good advice - thanks!

  • he is testing it on a marble table and wind outside messes with the thing so yea..... but outside is ALWAYS better

  • easier to control the lighting inside. I posted some other videos with these stoves outside - most recently in the snow - but you really can't see the flame - so not as much fun

  • @MsRandomchannel I have no idea what common sence is, but I have common sense...

  • Thanks mate! You are hereby added to my favorites!

  • very cool - thank you!

  • Why cooking whithout the lid!??

  • good question - certainly boils faster with a lid. I think I just wanted to show the boil better. I actually don't recall if I used a lid 'off camera' or not. In my newer videos - I use a lid. thanks for asking.

  • Dude: don't let your mom catch you playing with fire on her good granite countertop!

  • hilarious!

  • That shit is dangerous

  • you do need to be careful with it. But they make nice light stoves for backpacking

  • What type of pot did you put the water in?

  • it's about 15 years old. Part of an old Open Country set I think. It's just a cheap aluminum pot.

  • 1:10. You forgot to say you are welcome.

  • @alterbr33d

that's funny, I had to go back and listen to understand what you meant!

  • Would be more efficient if you used a heat shield and maybe lowered the pot a bit.

  • yes, I need to try again, with better fuel and a wind screen

  • i hope that mesh isn't galvanized

  • unfortunately it is - how long does it take for the bad stuff to burn out?

  • there seems to be alot of charing to your pot. You might want to use meths.

  • yes, ISO is bad stuff

  • lol why would u have the rubbing alcohol bottle so close to that LOL

  • bigger fire!

  • looks like ur burning just the fluid itself

its the vapor u need to burn

  • so you would make it more effecient by burning just the gas. i know this. but how would you propose this. have it sitting in a chamber then the gasses seap out.

  • yeah indeed, like that

  • He's right. That's the point of the stove. Otherwise, why not just dump the fuel in a coffee cup and light it?

  • what's cool about this stove, it heats the vapor, and burns just as it hits the pot (turbulence) very effective

  • actualy pretty easy to recognise x man

nice stove but you should prime it first !

  • I'm sure your cooking pot will be all black in the buttom after this.

  • lol yeh.

  • I dont know about that, he isn't using carbon fuel.

  • very black! yes. actually, after one run with ISO, then a cleaning. the pots get a nice professional black on the bottom!

  • i bet that lined of flame gives toomuch smoke

    :(

  • a lot of fuels like alchahol wich he is using here burns clean, with water being its only by product, others like gasoline are the ones that produce cardons and fumes

  • i can hear the x-men movie in the background lol

  • how the hell did u recognise that?

  • Yes, if I can get a fiery explosion that will certainly send my hit rate up!
