It was a full scale version of his UFO he won't shut up about and according to him BBC aired a story on it's progress and eventual flight 60 years ago. When I called them BBC told me that they had no such footage in thier archives. I personally confimed this by taking a look through them myself. There is no such footage. All you gota do to prove them wrong is ask them for the foortage.

Jhon searl claims to have built his first prototype using neodymium magnets... well he keeps changing the year in his story but the earliest I found him say was 1942 (he was 14 years old) and the latest I have seen him claim was 1965. His inability to keep his own story straight aside... The neodymium/iron/boron compound which neodymium magnets are made from was not invented untill 1982.

Just look at his biography on his own website and you find he was born in 1932, completed infant school in 1942, completed secondary schol in 1944, then started Naval School and was awarded an honours degree in 1946 (age 14).
With his degree from the Navy he was then employed as both a trainee pharmasist AND as an apprentice electrical fitter - at the same time!!!!

This is no scam. But you would know that already if you knew anything about this work, its histrory, and the people involved. You must know that the media has covered this work extensively since the 1960s, and that a NASA scientist worked on the IGV-assebly team at the SNSRC in the 1970s, and that a 10-foot,4.5 ton P-11 was flight tested at Edwards AFB in California in 1977. Ground-stations all over the world controlled the flight of IGVs with 12-meter band HAM radio.
41 levity-discs, or IGVs were built by the team. They had demonstration flights on Sunday at Warminster, and later Barkshire. There were thousands of wintesses. They were all asked to sight a big book, and give their impressions of the flights. It was a full scale version of his UFO he won't shut up about and according to him BBC aired a story on it's progress and eventual flight 60 years ago. When I called them BBC told me that they had no such footage in thier archives. I personally confimed this by taking a look through them myself. There is no such footage. All you gota do to prove them wrong is ask them for the foortage.

Frankly I have not confirmed if even that much of his story is true but then again I never felt it really mattered weather or not he is who he claims to be so I never actually tried to confirm it. Jhon searl claims to have built his first prototype using neodymium magnets... well he keeps changing the year in his story but the earliest I found him say was 1942 (he was 14 years old) and the latest I have seen him claim was 1965. His inability to keep his own story straight aside... The neodymium/iron/boron compound which neodymium magnets are made from was not invented untill 1982.

@Davidbensonxyz YES he have done something!. He claimed he had a SEG to power the electricity in his house. Later it was discovered that the SEG was hooked up to the main supply where he by-pass the watt meter. He then got sued by the Electricity company. Details of which were found on the newspaper: The Times, 26th November 1982, titled "Electricity thief risked blackout of the South"

dont believe everything you hear from wikipedia it lack quite often. i take law im sure he would of been prosecuted to deter anybody else trying to rob electric. to me it doesnt add up. also searl and associates deny the power companies claims. think about it a electric company isnt goin to want an seg in anyones home because it will spread like cross fire

John Searl had NO academic background, a so call PROFESSOR never had any valid qualification. He started SEG at the age of 14. Furthermore, he clam that he got this from a dream.

If you consider John Searl to be a genius, okay he got this SEG from dream at an age of 4 and a half. where first SEG was started production at 14yr old. Apart from the SEG and IGV which still waiting to be completed and demonstrated to the world, what has he achieved so far?

@harry201186 The answer to this is pretty obvious: There is a group of people share the common interest as John Searl where they were SHOOTING FISH. Hoping there will be invester(s) put money into the SEG project. While John Searl himself being at 78 don't have much time to spent such money, but those around him can spent it on paradise. Tell me, why will a story of a "So Called" scientist cost $29 per DVD and $5 per view on the web? Any other scientist does it the same?

Well of course it 'works'; you can see it working. It is just a very impractical rotary induction motor. But he claims that it will work when the electromagnets are replaced by permanent magnets, and it thus becomes a generator. Do you really imagine that that is true?

The head of the institute where the 'work' was supposedly done has officially disowned any connection with those crackpots. It is lucky that you are not interested in chemistry, or we would no doubt be treated to lists of the work of Mrs 'certificate in knitting' Ceaucescu who shamed all of Roumanian science (until she was executed).

That's not even 1 % of the distance earth-moon (384'000km) However, I don't think, you've grasped Prof. Dr. John R. R. Searl's famous logic: He says, only your mind made the limits. So if you believed strongly enough into his claim, the fore mentionad distance shrinked - and you had it. Better were to donate more money to Searl. This way, he could give more SF-lectures.

This is no scam. But you would know that already if you knew anything about this work, its histrory, and the people involved. You must know that the media has covered this work extensively since the 1960s, and that a NASA scientist worked on the IGV-assebly team at the SNSRC in the 1970s, and that a 10-foot,4.5 ton P-11 was flight tested at Edwards AFB in California in 1977. Ground-stations all over the world controlled the flight of IGVs with 12-meter band HAM radio.

Except that the people built the technology, the SEGs, and the 41-IGVs. One man cannot do all that by himself. This work requires a team, of dedicated individuals, which Professor Searl had, and has now reassembled. And the work, nearly lost to the world, has been resurrected. The SEG and the IGV shall not be lost to our children and their children. We shall have a cleaner, safer, cooler world, and be liberated from our planet, and Solar system. Poverty will be a distant memory in a generation.

One man did not do all of that, it took a team of many individuals, and it took a lot of money to build the various SEGs and the 41-craft. Nothing had to be invented, as all the data on building the SEG came from DREAM ONE, and all the data for building the Levity Discs, or Inverse Gravity Vehicle models came from dream TWO. Many teammates, around the world, like I have today, we are the next Generation team. And we will never be swayed from our mission. Don't try.

Really? And how was all of that money collected and disbursed? I have been through all of the declared financial records of all of Searl's companies with the traditional fine-toothed comb and I cannot find any trace of all of that activity. Are you suggesting that Searl did all of that 'off the books'? That would be illegal.
You are correct about being the 'next generation' team. Searl has to shed his previous dupes every decade or so, and find new suckers.
