  • this gives me an automatic head nod ^___^

  • right on patna!

  • wheres the instrumental @

  • Nice

  • i really dont like hiero's direction. i miss their unorthodox flows, "light" beats, and having fun. thats whats missing from hip hop, everything nowadays is either commercial (club songs) or if its underground its either dark or political. when hip hop started it was FUN. in the 90s MCs used to have wayyy tighter flows, for instance, any track on commons resurrection, but as times gone by everyones so serious, any new common (too preachy and serious). wtf happened to fun hip hop. bring that shit

  • True, but I also believe that's the beauty of the art. it changes with the time. I think the topics discussed in todays good hip-hop reflect the world we're in today. I do also think it is important to keep the element of 'fun' I guess you can say. but if you think about it, these artists mature. things cant be fun forever. thats why we need new, young, talented lyricists. which we lack. the rookies are into pop rap radio BS now.

  • no man i totally agree. i wrote that comment a long time ago. i think that someone's music should reflect wherever they're at and however they're feeling at that time, so i don't mind the change to different subject matter at all, so long as long as it's honest. but i guess more what i'm getting at is the flow of an MC today.

  • Late response, but I thought about what you said some, and it is true indeed. Beats these days are so simplistic and repetitive, and it's probably due to lack of good production, which is a reflection of the lack of effort put into making good music nowadays. I do miss the old Hiero, and the beats were indeed different and the rhymes equally innovative. These days you really have to dig deep for decent shit. Shame.

  • it really is. i guess the lack of effort can be attributed to what's already out there. i think kids (at least in hip hop) used to think that they had to do something new and original in order to stand out from the others and make it (not that there weren't people biting back then too), but now a kid sees repetitive, meaningless music, and he knows that all he needs to be successful is more of the same, another "hot" beat and a gimmick and he's got it. we don't reward originality anymore..

  • Yeah and that's likely where the mainstream/underground divide began. Where the lack of originality overshadowed the actual effort put into making good quality music.

  • To my ears, beats nowadays are missing that funk influence, which made an MC come with an inventive, maybe unorthodox flow. the rhythms now are straightforward and simple, and it seems like MCs rhyme the same way, it's just boring to me. Hiero always had tight, crazy flow, and they came at a track with different rhythms, so i suppose i miss they're inventiveness, but in my opinion that can be blamed on the lack of good production today

  • awesome

  • i want some 'that's when you lost/93 'til' type shit!

    this is garbage in comparison.

  • those were the days!

  • This album is far more creative than 'triangulation station' and I like it much more. Triangulation station was an expensive production, obviously, do to the fact it was mastered in 1/2 in. tape. Which is what gave it that beautiful quality overall. 'Vultures Wisdom' is what artists are afraid to drop right now. Raw LYRICISM, unrelentless, creative, not to mention 'the Architects' Live band yall!!! Peep knowledge and game fools. Cant wait for the next 2, this album is excellent.

  • the architects is not really a band. thats my boy d.j. architect killin it on the mpc.. now thats a real producer for ya!!! fooled ya!!!

  • "São Paulo, BraSil" represent peace!!!

  • i'm feeling the old school crispy beats.

  • hold up... this nigga op aint tight as he used to be. this video is tight as fuck. if only the lyrics were as tight as the video. i don't care what yall say, op is slippin, pep would eat him up right now

  • where is peps new album? ...

  • Opio and Casual are the only ones making any noise worth listening to from the Hiero click right now. The rest need to step up their game now, Opio set the bar.

  • whuuuuuut? who are you? do you know them personally? you better....

  • yes and i do and what if i didnt? i cant have an opinion? i've been knowing hiero since before they were ever signed but thats besides the point. compare these lyrics to peps album. you be the judge.

  • ..off the damn chain

  • yeah! lets go!

  • This album needs to drop already. the anticipation is killing me. Op is my folks and I am extremely excited for this one. Triangulation Station was highly underrated and dope as fuck. This album is looking to be more of the same...

    respect

    A Brother Named...
