  • Every major MV reviewer has even said that.

    What exactly sets this CC apart from a normal F4?, when you get to the guts of it, not alot.

    Infact, they worked out that you could build an F4 for less than £35k (including £15k for the bike itself)

    This bike is the meaning of excess, your £70k isn't buying any advanced technology, your just paying far more for the same thing.

    And alot of the "status symbol" drones that I've met on this video are too stupid to work this out.

  • @wolfyys I have ridden (~10 times) the F4CC and the Tamburini. The Tamburini is absolutely no comparison to the F4CC, the Brakes, the POWER, and the SOUND. You cannot hear the tambo when it's near the F4CC. The F4CC sounds like a Ferrari. I must admit that the Tamburini gets more stares. The other thing I have noticed riding the F4CC, imagine your in a WRX and a Lamborghini/Ferrari rolls up next to you. What do you do? You do what any modern day Jap and Ducati rider does. Stare open mouthed.

  • lol are u serious?? because the 1098r was brought out a month after the last desmo was sold which like i said ducati themselves say is faster!! u dont get it?? the desmo was meant to be made as a limited edition run motogp replica, once they sold them all, thats it, no more, where as the 1098r, is not, its a full production model that people can buy thousands of, the desmo was so expensive because its a "replica" where as the r is not, what makes more?

  • This bike is 10 YEARS OLD

    the bike has had NO major improvments since its inception. A bigger engine is a poor mans way of improving power, many superbike rivals could build a bike as powerful as the F4CC for less than half the price, and without having to resort to capacity increase .oh yes they have! its called the Desmocedici RR

  • If you think for one second that a company that isnt involved in MotoGp or can afford to upgrade their model lines in 10 years, can make a bike better than the Desmo RR, you really are a fool.

    The desmo is 100cc LESS than the F4CC, produces the same amount of hp (200), it is 20KG LIGHTER

    thats only comparing the basic specs, NOT including ducatis MotoGp derived Frame and suspension.

    face the fact, the F4CC is a waste of money. Its an obsolete design.

    But its still a gorgeous bike. I'm in a position where, in a few years I'll be able to afford a Desmo and I'm going to get one. If I waited a few more years I could get the F4CC but I wouldn't for ur above-stated reasons. However, if I was a millionaire, i'd have a Desmo AND an F4CC as it IS a gorgeous exclusive bike.

BUT.. its no where near as fast as it should be. the 1098r which they brought out soon after, is actually lighter, and has around the same hp.. so how is the desmo close to a gp bike when there production bike is actually faster around a track!?!?! and thats ducati's words that they used when the 1098r came out.."faster than the desmo" desmo is a joke imo

  • u think 22hp makes the desmo faster? look at it, less weight, heaps more torque, thinner bike = more corner speed, better lean angle, and better drive out of corners. ducati themselves say the 1098R is faster around a track! do a search on a ducati website and look urself?? oh and how on earth is it a motogp replica when there street model 1098r weighs less than it does!? it may have a v4, but has a COMPLETE different tune to a gp bike,

  • do u not agree that the desmo should be alot quicker and lighter than it is?? as for having motogp derived suspension.. the forks alone on a motogp bike are worth more than a whole desmo+more! and are a far cry away from what u get on desmo. oh and the 1098 has 186bhp and 99.1ft/lb of torque :)

  • no not really, ask you self this, why would ducati make a bike half the price better.

    You can moan all you like, ducati have people who have Moto-gp experience test these bikes. If the 1098R was better, I doubt they would have made it.

  • @wolfyys U cud make the argument that an S1000RR which is much more affordable and quicker than the Desmo is a far better value, and that it is the Ducati that is overpriced. Who cares if its "overpriced>"?

    you want to know why?, because I can take a basic F4 and BUILD one that is better than the CC for MUCH LESS.

    The F4 CC inst about desirability, its about the fact its a plain rip off.

    The F4CC IS NOT exclusive, if it is, then I'll paint my bike and say its the only one made, ultimate exclusivity right there.

    There is a fine line between a good machine and a plain rip off.

    I can guarantee you that in 5 yrs or so this bike will still be worth 100 000 Euro or whatever, simply because of exclusivity. A lot of vehicles are more expensive to start with not for a necessarily rational reason, yet remain collector's items years later.

    Look retard, I said that I agreed with you that materially there isn't a huge diff b/w this and the standard one, but then the standard MV ISNT VERY GOOD ANYWAY.

    And, the Desmo isn't as good as a 1198R which isn't as good as a S1000RR.

    By definition all Ducatis and MVs are overpriced, so its a matter of 6 or half a dozen-type scenario. (btw I ride a Ducati Multistrada)

  • @StigRossi Clearly you haven't ridden an MV (or at least one thats been set up), they are great machines, they aren't well set up out of the crate, but they are far from being "not very good"

    Overpriced?, no not really, a 1198 is pretty much the same price as any modern Jap 1000. (with the ZX10R being actually more expensive)

    They aren't very good by comparison with Japanese bikes. At least thats what most of the magazines say anyway, you're right tho in that I haven't ridden one.

    Further, an 1198 is more money than a Japanese 1000 or the S1000RR, and the SP w/ the suspension components to compete is even MORE money.
