  • 1:05-1:07 would make a good lesson in physics and over-eager railfanning. The guy could slip over the edge EASILY and could get the same shot standing back a foot or two.

Yikes, at least it shows good initiative!

    BTW, nice video.

  • Thanks for watching me watching them. The day was full of moments like the one you've quoted (thin ice, bitter cold, moving metal parts). Fortunately, all survived.

  • i was standing on the other side freight house in Bartlett! that was such a great trip. we rode the train the previous day and chased this trip to notchland. I saw the 4 runbys at BArtlett and 3 at notchland. I wish i could have stayed longer but its a long drive home from North Conway to Cape Cod! Great video!

  • The next best thing to riding is chasing, glad you had fun.

  • I really wanted to attend this charter, but it didn't happen. Looks like you had a fantastic day despite the cold. It's not often you see a railfanning video which puts the focus on the photography experience. Thanks for letting me live vicariously! 5 stars + favorite.

  • Glad to bring it to you, I like your NH train videos a lot. I've heard the Cog often while hiking MT. Washington.

  • I noticed the CN rail logo on the locomotive. Was this video filmed on another visit to the Dominion of Canada?

  • The scenery was an all-American production, the train resides in North Conway, NH and was made up to resemble a Canadian National freight.

  • gorgeous! thanks for that.

  • It was a gorgeous winter day, one of the best of the season.
