Well it's rap with a different twist...that's what sets it above the norm of rap. Like Run DMC...that rock thing really worked for them. I remember them guys raping in the streets in N.Y.C. as far back as the 70'es doing that stuff on street corners and later in staged shows at various P.J.s. And then in the Apollo.
