I too, live in central Florida (Tampa Bay area). I used to hear meadowlarks up in Michigan where I am originally from, as well. I miss their song. I don't think that I've heard one since the late 1980's.

I live in central Florida. Used to see these guys sitting on fenceposts in the pasture when I was a kid. Sadly haven't seen any in over 20 years.
