If you really love the Lord Jesus, you would obey His Word, the Bible. If you really love Jesus, then you would preach the Truth according to the Bible and not your own words. You wouldn't preach stories and dreams that cannot be supported by Scripture. Jesus said, "Many will say to me on that day: Lord, Lord, didn't we prophesy in your name, drive out demons in your name and in your name perform many miracle? Thankfully Jesus will be the judge of all this, and not any of us. These guys preach the pure gospel, it just might not come forth in King James' prose and scriptures.

Pick a version, any version - they all say the same thing. So-called miracles aren't evidence of anything.

I'm tired of people comparing Todd Bentley to Jesus. When I talk to someone who's all for this revival and mention the criticisms and they say "Well, they criticized Jesus in his day" I want to scream "Todd Bentley IS NOT JESUS ! !" This guy talks about how the annointing is transferrable and how he reads and listens to Todd all the time and then at 1:54 he says "the 12 hung out with Jesus all the time. The bible says draw near to God, not Todd. Seek the Holy Spirit, not the annointing.

Definitely we should seek the Lord not for the gifts, but for intimacy with Him, and this is spoken out at Lakeland a lot during worship, so be encouraged.

No, Jesus and Todd are not one in the same. But, Todd is a disciple of Jesus, and the disciples went through a heck of a lot of persecution, and so do those in the midst of revival now.

Your argument is merely (1) The disciples were persecuted (2) We are persecuted to as much as we can possibly create our own persecution; therefore we are (3) equal to Jesus 12 disciples and Paul.. I've been strugling with what to think of this whole thing for months and it's refreshing to be involved in a civilized discussion. There's too much trashing going on out there from people who are supposed to be following God. And God, after all, is love. I think I read that somewhere once (wink wink). Hi Royzoner. Just because you make a comment, does not mean your words are an authority. Todd upholds William Branham who was clearly a heretic, preaching a false Jesus. Furthermore, the gifts of the Spirit are the manifestation of the Spirit (1 Corinthians 12:7). Notice that the apostle Paul does not say gifts of healing and deliverance of devils are the work of any angel. Yet, according to Todd, they are. In light of the word of God, your comments, are found to be in error.

I am saying you should pray before you get involved in someones ministry or follow them because great things are happening. The Devil can transform his self as an angel of light. If you pray about Todd Bentley you will find he is not of God.

The word even tells us to watch for wolves in sheeps clothing.
