Sounds amazing! I love what you do with those samples. I also use East West libraries. Check out my compositions when get a chance, I'd love to hear some feedback.
I would not recommend FL for the EWQL vst's. Cakewalk SONAR is my sequencer of choice (has everything on screen, and VERY user-friendly!) Cubase is another great option.
5* for PROPERLY adding effects to the instruments...I know Gold can be a pain to work with sometimes.
its not a dumb question at all .. its not like FL its just a standalone .. but Im pretty sure on their site it says that it is compatible with FL .. i'd double check that though!
it is compatible with FL you can use it that way and it's probably a lot easier with a program like FL studio. i have used EWQLSO but only with a midi keyboard... i didnt really understand how that worked but then i began with using FL. that worked great but then my PC was too old and to slow to handle it. now i've got a new one but ...kinda downloaded EWQLSO so now i've got to do that again cause i lost the files. but i will be using it again on FL studio.
my computer has had a bad history with torretns, ive tried to google it, but mccafe says all the sites sre assoc, with viruses, im looking for a legit site.
i use thepiratebay-com, i have not found any viruses in any download, it's like a community, and they erase files with viruses right away, but i cannot assure you you will not find viruses
honestly dude .. i don't care if you like it .. i wasn't trying to make it perfect .. if you read the description .. i was "JUST HAVING FUN" .. but thanks for your input! ;D
nice,I liked this. Eastwest samples sounds great but their PLAY software is terrible,I am having nothing but problems with it. The support is useless, please read my Goliath review on harmony central,if anyone is interested
ouch ... sry your having problems with the PLAY engine .. I've had this software for about a year now .. haven't found a problem yet .. well im glad you enjoy that little intro piece to SPR .. a great piece by JW
;D .. a keyboard is like using a paint brush while painting a picture .. you can paint out he sounds in your mind and turn them into a physical form .. for others to hear! :) ..
" The Gift of Artist were Given to the World so that People could Dream while their Awake" ..
A keyboard isn't "required". I just score my music using the piano roll, and while I'm definitely no great composer, I know very good people who use the piano roll.
its nice job. I have a problem with this orchestra. The problem is that when I came to control the volume on the same note (like in Brass instruments) it's do not obey the main volume midi controler.
I have a few questions. Does this software work like a sequencer where you lay a track for each instrument? Let's say i want to write a track for cello and save it externally could i do that? Do i need a midi keyboard? If you can answer these, thanks.
The best thing about this program is that you can set each instrument to a specific channel up to 16 channels per unit .. so you use less ram! and yes for best results lol .. your going to need a midi keyboard to write with it! .. but its an amazing system. if you are really into it and you are really going to use it .. then you cant possibly go wrong with buying it!! you can save, open, and edit all. even go through and edit midi notes!! works just like everything else!!
Wow, sounds pretty good. Basically what i was looking for. I wish it didn't require a midi keyboard, but i guess a new kind of composing experience can be good. Thanks for reponding!
yeah .. no dude you dont have to "have" a keyboard .. you can just punch in the notes .. using a keyboard just makes everything easier .. and adds more feeling to the song! .. sry if i confused you .. anyways .. no problem dude! let me know if you have anymore question! ;D
haha .. im sry about that man .. didnt mean to burst your eardrums! .. this soundtrack is just amazing .. but of course every John Williams soundtrack is amazing! ..
thanks for listening .. im still working on my musical .. its tough man!! haha .. im looking forward to more of your sickening musical pieces!!!

Have you ever even used it with FLStudio?
apologiate07 2 years ago
I tried it, and didn't like the limited capability.
SSFMP 2 years ago
What effects are they?
bryanbhu 1 year ago
@bryanbhu ... just some reverb and key pads which allow you to get different tones from the instruments that you use!
check out an EastWest video if you want to know more about the key pads .. you wont really understand till you see exactly what it is.
Thediegmyster 1 year ago
Thank you, but I can't find the video on key pads. On the EastWest site at SoundsOnline, right? Nothing obvious there =/

Dumb question, is EWQL anything like FL? or is it just a standalone plugin?

Well, I don't like it. You have to know, how to play with envelopes. Smoother attack would be good to use here, as well as adding more instruments.
