If you listen to when Alesana first came out they played very different than now...which sounds like Asking Alexandria. I can name a ton of bands that play off each other. I still love Asking Alexandria and Alesana...both bands are awesome to me...just stating an opinion.

really a shame.. i mean Asking Alexandria has always had that ideal mix of modern metal and mainstream techno/pop orientation. But they never change or improve; step up the game. The singer still uses auto-tune like the guy sounds nothing like this live which sucks cuz it would be sick to actally hear him sing this for real. Guitars are doing the same style of breakdown chugs, same old half step thing. this sound is getting stale, step up the game guys!!
