Calvinists are right and Arminians are wrong. Evidence: Calvinists have long lists of Scriptures they present. Arminians only have the "all" and "world" verses.
Calvinists know and talk about each side. Arminian preachers NEVER EVEN MENTION Calvinism, so Arminianism "wins" by default.
Satan has you faggots arguing over theology when thousands of people have yet to hear the Gospel overseas. Why don't you loosers go do something that actually counts...
which by the way I love you lol. I really really don't want to be guilty of seperation on the account of this <---- The point of the video... so yeah I'll try to calm down. We are all on the same team here :)
First off, I do not say Arminians are headed for Hell. I was once an Arminian, now I am a five pt. Calvinist, so there is hope for all people. No, not everyone has the gift of faith. Faith in nothing as atheists believe, is not faith. Faith is a gift received when God's Holy Spirit enters into a Christian and changes a person. Without the Spirit, men do not have faith. They hate Christ and any mention of a God. To those without faith, talk of God is "foolishness".
& how far are you REALLY willing to take this, don't-fight-over-doctrine doctrine? Will you embrace Mormons, Metropolitan (pro-homosexuality) Church members? How can people work together to build the kingdom if they don't have a common vision as to what the church actually is? What are you bringing people into when you bring them into the church? Is this a trifling question? I don't think so.
Hey great video. I was just wandering how did you make this? Was it a website? I've been trying to figure it out because I would like to make a few videos myself. Let me know. Thanks.
Calvinism is not Christianity. It's a false doctrine that teaches another jesus. There is no salvation in Calvinism because Calvinism teaches you're either born elect(saved) or you're born condemned(lost). There's nothing a person can do to obtain salvation when it comes to Calvinism.
1 Timothy 4:1 ¶Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
2 Peter 2:1 ¶But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
Paul warned people of false teachers and false doctrines. He even named names. If he hadn't done that, what kind of love would he had for those listening to the false teachers and their teachings? None.
All 5 points of Calvinism, TULIP, are from the scriptures. You Arminians do not properly understand the scriptures. Jesus said: "All that the Father gives to me will come to me". And "No man can come to me unless the Father draws him to me". Sounds to me like Jesus was saying that God is the one in control, not puny little sinful and spiritually DEAD little man with his great big ego and "freewill" The only thing worse than an Arminian is an Atheist. God is sovereign!
@godsgift2drums Well,we must teach the truth, either Jesus is a failure or He is a mighty Savior,we can't compromise on these points,we are not to have peace at any price.Jesus said He came not to bring peace but a sword that divides family members and friends. We must stand firm on God's word and rightly divide the truth, that's edifying not compromising.
@NewDirection4us dude "The only thing worse than an Arminian is an Athiest." Give me a break! You are a pathetic excuse for a Christian because you beat down and hate on your Christian brothers who have the same goal as you in glorifying God! You make me sick and you should be ashamed.
@iccablob Sorry if the truth hurts. I don't beat down true brothers who honor what Christ did for us. It is dishonorable to Christ to make salvation dependent upon a man's choice instead of God's sovereignty. Your Arminianism makes me sick!
Now, i am a Calvinist, but Arminian's are Christians and preach Truth just as we do. Also, Historical Calvinism teaches that God draws all (John 12:32). A GREAT Arminian Preacher was John Wesley!
@ArmorOfGodMinistries I was once an Arminian, so it is possible for an Arminian to learn the scriptures and become a five point Calvinist as I am now. God draws all of Christ's saints to Jesus, not all men or else all men would be saved. God cannot fail.
Not only are you to teaching Calvinism, you are not a Calvinist. You are into whats called Hyper-Calvinism. That is not what Historical Calvinism teaches. Christ draws all people to the cross, not just a few.
@ArmorOfGodMinistries Like He drew the Romans that nailed him to the cross? If Christ draws all men then he has failed to save some. He does not draw all men, otherwise all men would be saved. He draws only those whom the Father has given him. Read your Bible and spend less time on You Tube!
No. The Bible teaches Free Will, we do have a choice. But we are bound by our sin, therefore, on our own, we choose sin. Yes, The only ones that come are the ones that Father draws, Christ is the Father. Jesus draws all me unto Him. This is called Intercession, not Atonement. Atonement is for all that believe. You cannot believe unless intercession was made giving you the chance of seeing how wretched you are. Intercession was made for all, Atonement was only for Elect (or believers).
@ArmorOfGodMinistries Is our "Freewill" greater than God's will? If God wants to save someone can we frustrate Him in GHis purpose? No. We are creatures and He is the Creator. Our will is always based on our desires. God can change our desires. In fact, if God's Holy Spirit does not enter into a man and he is born again then he will continue to sin and follow Satan into hell. God saves. men don't save themselves by what they "freewill" choose to believe. That is Satan's lie, that we choose.
Did I say that, NO!! Please quit twisting my words. Everything you say is right. But God's Devinne Will is for us to come to Him by Faith, our choice does fall in there. The Bible says it, and even John Calvin said that God wishes all men to be saved in the Geneva Liturgy of 1542. Read the Bible passages together, not in one context.
@ArmorOfGodMinistries But we must first have the gift of faith in order to come to Christ. Without the gift of faith, no man will come to Christ. In fact, without faith, men hate Christ. Where we may differ is that I believe we get faith as a gift when we receive the Holy Spirit and that is not our own doing. You believe, correct me if I'm wrong, that man chooses to have faith on his own, and then receives the Holy Spirit. Our differences are cause and effect.
Everyone has a gift of faith. It is our response to God that matters. An Atheist has faith in something, do they not? They have faith that there is no God, and that they evolved. So they have a faith, just not in Christ, therefore they are going to Hell. Read the Bible in its contexts, quit trying to put God in a theological box, it cannot be done. If you do not want to acknowledge that Arminian's are our Brothers and Sisters in Christ, I cannot continue this conversation, it is unfruitful
He draws all men to the foot of the Cross and gives us the chance to Repent and Believe. Just like he did to the rich young ruler, He gave that you man a choice. We all have a choice, Heaven o Hell.
You act as if Calvanists are the only ones who use scripture! Honestly this is a silly post.
A man cannot marry a woman unless she allows him. God cannot be reunited with man unless man allows Him.
"The Lord WILLS that NONE should perish but ALL would come to repentence" if God predestined all men and man has no choice, God would OBVIOUSLY not want all to be saved. God CANNOT desire two things that are contrary. The only way God could not get what he wants is if we chose.
@PyroFreeze777 Calvinists certainly have a better understanding of scriptures than Arminians or universalists who have watered down the gospel to fit their own humanistic ideas. Did Christ die for everyone? If he did, then why do some go to hell? Your false doctrine place salvation strictly on man's decision, not God's sovereignty. You place man's will above God's ability to accomplish what he wants. Your view of God is a creator who cannot save who he wants.
But it is you who challenge God's sovereignity! God is so sovereign, He can give others power! Which IS what God wants. So letting man make the choice even though God wants something IS LOVE and IS SOVEREIGN.
2 Peter "The lord wills that none shall perish and that all shall come to repentence."
2 Timothy "The lord wants to save all men"
If God does NOT want to save all men, then you are making the same bible you promote to be a lie. (Caps for emphasis lol)
@PyroFreeze777 No, we Calvinists let God be God. We know that spiritually dead people cannot choose anything, let alone their fate in salvation. God must make alive, cause a rebirth, be born again, before man can come to Christ. You arminians get it backwards. God chooses the elect, Christ saves us at the cross, and only us, then in time at our appointed times we receive the Holy Spirit and believe and have faith. Being born again comes first then believing and faith.
lol but my problem is that this view contradicts the Bible when it states God wills that all should be saved, that God wills that none should perish, and that God takes no delight in the destruction of the wicked.
God does not choose an elect, rather He has "Bound all men to obedience so that He might have mercy on them ALL" (Romans (10?)) God being God does not mean God has made everey decision.
Soveriegnity doesn't mean God makes every choice. If so, man has no faults
@PyroFreeze777 When a Judge sentences a convicted murderer to death he wouldn't take delight in the loss of life but he is compelled to serve justice. The Judge wishes that all people would never commit murder, that is his desire, however when confronted with the a murderer he must carry out justice and deal with him accordingly. The same is true of God. He could pardon every sinner but it would come at a cost to his sense of justice. By saving some, he displays both his mercy AND his justice.
But your analogy is flawed! In this case the judge CHOOSES for the murderer to murder someone, and THEN judges him. If the judge did not delight in the murderer committing his crime in the first place, then the judge would not have made the murderer do it! Because if Calvanism is true, the murderer had, NO CHOICE but to commit the murder! The choice was made for him.
If pardoning every sinner is unjust, so is pardoning even one sinner. Jesus makes justice possible, forall
@PyroFreeze777 Well, in reality we are all sinners, all thieves and murderers. If we ever hated anyone, we are guilty. In a sense you're right, unregenrate men are slaves to sin and cannot do the will of God. Only after God has converted us, from sinner to saint, and given us a new heart and a new birth, can we start to do that which is pleasing to God... which is having faith in Christ Jesus. The Father and the Son have an agreement, the Father chooses who Christ saves.
Yes, we are all sinners and need Christ lol! And yes faith in Christ Jesus is the only way to salvation! But God specifically says He takes no delight in the destruction of the wicked (Exekiel), that He desires that none should perish but all would repent (2 Peter) and that He desires ALL men to be saved (1 Tim), but if Calvanism is right (which I don't think it is :P) then none of these verses are true, because God would not want ALL to be saved, and desires Destruction of sm
@PyroFreeze777 you can 6try to stretch those verses to mean whatever you want but there are far more verses that say that salvation is the work of the Lord, not the decision of man. Just think about it. In your doctrine, Jesus merely died to make all people saveable, BUT only if they believe. That is a conditional grace, given to people based on what they do. Jesus never said: I lay down my life to make salvation possible. He said: "I lay down my life for my friends, for my sheep".
@PyroFreeze777 You need to read 2 Peter 3:9 slowly, but first read 1 Peter and you will understand who the YOU or US is that Peter is saying that God doesn't want perishing.
But sir if you do read the verse slowly you will find that it is not the Christians that need to come back to repentence! It's the wicked! Even Christians still repent, true, but when it comes to terms of destruction or not it is only those who are headed for destruction that must repent! So if God wants "all" to come to repentence, He cannot be talking about those already saved because these verses deal with destruction.
@PyroFree Even the Elect are under wrath until the Father calls them to salvation and all that He calls will be saved by Jesus. The new birth must happen first before belief can happen. The natural man cannot obey God,he cannot know or understand the things of God,that's why God must regenerate the natural man 1st so he will know and understand that he needs a Savior.God knew both groups before time,1 He would save and 1 He would pass over,He's not trying but failing to save those He passed over.
@PyroFreeze777 Acts 13:48 And when the Gentiles heard this, they began rejoicing and glorifying the word of the Lord, and as many as were appointed to eternal life believed.
Notice,as many as were appointed to eternal life believed, and NOT, as many as believed were appointed to eternal life. The appointment was made by God Himself before time that certain individuals would believe when the gospel was presented to them.Notice again,ONLY AS MANY AS WERE APPOINTED,WILL BELIEVE.
This is a tough scripture for the Armenian for sure.
I'm sure you are aware of the stance many Armenians hold that God elects those whom He in His foreknowledge knows already who will chose Him, and so this is what I would have to apply here.
The reason that its thousands of years later and we are still debating over this is that both sides have difficult scriptures to deal with, and logic to face.
Ezekiel 33:11 would be one the Calvinist can't make a strong argument against.
@PyroFreeze777 If you read Eph. 1: 4-12 ,it lays out the whole plan for believers. Many people don't read the scriptures in context. In Eph. Paul is addressing believers only, and he is laying out the story of how God had chose them all before time , why He chose them and to what end.
@NewDirection4us God is a god of order. He set Adam to watch over the garden. He set the tides of the Ocean. God loves his family and is involved with them. No good father ties down his family and forces them to do anything.
God cannot sin, it is imposisble. To make him responsible for sin makes HIM deserving of death. That's heresy and a satanic lie. Just because God doesn't fit your definition of what "sovereign" is, you made him into a tyrant and the same being as satan.
@NewDirection4us Do you follow a God where if man sneezes He loses authority and control? It sounds like it. Man can't respond without God losing Himself? Sounds ridiculous. Read Matthew 8:12. People who Heaven was prepared for will end up tossed into eternal fire.
I am probably pretty close to you in theology as a ZERO point Calvinist, free will etc. I can still learn some good things from even Calvinist preachers. God is bigger than my theology and can use anyone He wishes.
That's it! I watch paul washer as well. He even says that calvinsim is NOT the issue. Actually it was paul washer's "shocking message" that got me into God the way i am now. Theology is important, but love is more so.

Pray.

@NewDirection4us Do you follow a God where if man sneezes He loses authority and control? It sounds like it. Man can't respond without God losing Himself? Sounds ridiculous. Read Matthew 8:12. People who Heaven was prepared for will end up tossed into eternal fire.

I am weary from the 'christian' battle lines: Calvinists v er, Christian-Bible-believing
( seems I'm not alone on this )
Bottom Line:
Love God; Love one another

I thank you.
