  • You could resign from the British Military just like that back then? Also Paramount please release this movie out on Blu-Ray.

  • i cant believe i havent heard of this movie before. it will probably end up being one of my fav movies!

  • Heath Ledger was great as usual (RIP). I also really liked Kate Hudson in this movie. She played a very convincing English lady of the time. Ethne Eustace was her only good role.

  • A good Movie, but the historical inaccuracies are pretty glaring.. the Battle of Abu Klea which is depicted as a severe defeat for the British was actually a British Victory. Then again the director was Indian so thats not really surprising

  • wasnt impressed couldnt watch the whole thing, Heath and hudson were the only good actors and to many cheesy parts.

  • this movie was the shit! i looooooooove it like i love my asian movies!

  • Facebook/The four feathers :)

  • AH! To see Heath Ledger and his acting;what a brilliant man,A great Loss. I want to see it.

  • this is an excellent film, but I never liked the girl.

  • This whole film would be a lot simpler if he just said he was a pacafist.

Also our whole drama class hated the female character when we watched it. Right up until the end -.-

  • i'm confused, is he fighting for or against the british?

  • WHY DO THEY ALWAYS USE THAT STUPID THICK AMERICAN ACCENT WITH TEH VOICE OVER? LIKE HE SMOKES 60 A DAY OR SOMETHING.

  • I show my son this trailer every morning when he wakes up.

"THIS IS THE WORLD! THIS IS THE WORLD!!!!"

  • @boxtears hahaha what? whay? THIS IS THE WORLD! THIS IS THE WOLD! HAHAHA oh my god, no offence.

  • Heath forever in our hearts

  • and RIP to DON! i love the way he says "The Four Feathers"

  • i saw it already it arrived today its awesome!!! i tried to put it in my computer to downloaded here but it didnt want to :( ill try again ;)

  • I just wanted to share this with you: the other day a girl left a comment saying she used to be a friend of Heath during highschool and I started laughing because he went to a private school for boys only haha :D

  • I bought this movie by eBay and I can't wait for it to arrive in 2 more days! I love Heath ledger haha I think we all do XD

  • brilliant film, very underrated .

  • This is one of my favorite movies too, and yes, it was so underrated! Why? Heath was amazing in it!!! And the movie touches so many sensitive topics, even for nowadays. Heath's character resolution to do something about the feathers was honestly brilliant. How many of us has reached that point and said "I better do something, for it's my choice to become the one I want to be". This made a lot of sense. If you haven't seen this movie, I promise you won't lose your time.

  • This movie is ridiculously underrated! Heath should have got nominated for this role. I call him Heath because we were tight like that.

  • I think this is one of the most underrated movies I have ever seen

  • @InfidelAdvocate Pfft thats what you think, as a person thats seen Ugandan Lord's Resistance Army (LRA) rebels in action I say, much hasnt changed. Whether American, USSR, or directly core British army, they all tell ya the same thing when no ones left on your brigade (or in my case activist group); 'You are in hostile territory where the situation cannot be helped there is nothing we can do' If its you and less than 7 ppl then youre even worse off cause aint sending shit for just that amount.

  • it's sad that he died. R.I.P Heath, we miss you.

  • Very good film! Heath was very good in it!

  • Comment removed

  • film strepitoso

  • Last week I remember this movie.

  • This kinda reminds me of today's day with the u.s againts taliban and other groups..being all neat and getting attacked in guriila warfare etc

  • Excellent film.

  • It's not as good as the 1939 original.

  • fantastic movie, made me cry

one problem though: Kate Hudson's accent

fortunately she's not in the movie that much, but still

  • Looks like an excellent film but I'd have to say I knew nothing about its release. How long ago was it released? Is it out on DVD now?

  • @USNCUBUFF Its out on DVD but it is hard enough to find

  • @emmahouli Probably because Miramax tanked.

  • i like the original movie better...

  • Heath Ledger 4ever....

    the best!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Could anyone tell me the name of the song that begins at 0:18?

  • Wasnt much like the book :/ but pretty rad all the same

  • I love that line " I sometimes wonder what a God forsaken dessert has to do with her majesty the queen"......

But yeah the irony :)))))) almost there...

  • that one black guy is the same guy from gladiator!

  • @16Canadian really....i love him, him and harry were perfect together in this movie....I love the part when they argue about him giving himself up to the prison, and harry say....How can you be responsible for my life...If its God will for me to die, then I will die :)))

  • @Mannagood well it is, i was just saying

  • @16Canadian oh don't mistake I meant really, like really thats cool, is all :))))))

  • I love this movie. :)

Thank you for uploading the trailer.

    R.I.P Heath

  • I deleted the comment by "shaise" because I do not support racism and if you guys want to continue talking this racist crap you better move to some planet far far away! All men are created free and equal.

  • @RyKey2201 COURSE U ARE RIGHT

  • @RyKey2201

    This is a wonderful movie.

If interested in that era, Karthoum (1966) tells the story of General Gordon

and you are right, no need for racists not here, not anywhere!

    Thanks for the trailer

  • @RyKey2201 Love you for that :)

  • @RyKey2201 *humans

  • Is there a curse on this movie?Heath ledger and lucy gordon?

  • Definitely gotta like the old one better, and the book better than the movies, of course ^_^

  • @NextLife77 some egyptains are black, some areas are populated by many black people because egypt is a part of africa. They speak arabic and they look more arabic than blacks. So i dont understand why you are freaking out. They probably focused on one tribe of egyptians.

  • You should read Dr. Gamal Hamdan's book first, before insulting people you don't know. There are 30 different races in Modern Egypt.

What about the Nubians? aren't they Egyptians? Take the majority of people in Upper Egypt.

Your comment shows a big deal of ignorance.

    PS: I'm an Egyptian myself.

  • The film had a promising start and storyline but got muddled about half-way through the story. Still, the battle sequences alone are worth viewing the film.

There have been four versions of the "Four Feathers". About the best one is from the 1970's. And, yes, the British stopped wearing the scarlet tunics before the time the film was set.

  • I'm certain that I saw a version of this movie starring Richard Todd, but I've looked everywhere and can't find mention of it. Does anyone know where I can find that movie?

  • that was done on purpose because the red looked better in the desert

  • wrong British uniforms for the era

  • seriously who gives a fuck?

  • rugby yeah!!!!!

  • A Great mpvie in every possible way and Heath's performance... I don't find words to describe it. Love the movie.

  • It is a great movie. Heath Ledger was fantastic in it!

  • Revive Heath Ledger legacy...

  • ahhh, do u know a movie about US soldiers sent to desert to defend a waterwell without water, in the end only 3-4 stay alive but the well is refiled and they win the battle, pls respond if u do know

  • hey when you do find that title can you please send it to me. Thank you.

  • yeah man... name is SAHARA, with James Belushi from 1995 :D

  • Thanks man much appreciated

  • they had there asses kicked and the britsh lost the war to a third world country fighting with sords and spears.

  • no, in real life the battle the movie is supposed to represent the british fend off the attack pretty easily, they only loose in the film for better dramatic effect

  • @abufatimah Sounds like the Americans in the Vietnam war! Anyway, just so you know - since Americans seem to have a tendency to believe movies are 100% accurate historical accounts - this film is a work of fiction and has little to no basis in the reality of the Mahdist war. If you want to know what really happened then I suggest reading a history book or at the very least reading the wiki entry!

  • The very best movie version of the novel written in 1902. Heath Ledger makes this movie, as he does all of his others, a definite movie to watch!

    Heath Ledger Rocks!

  • High quality my ass!

  • The four feathers of cowardice. Great Movie!
