The only one of those that really frightened me was the Pyramid Head (From 2; Homecoming's PH was lame). He's the embodiment of your own guilt. In his first appearance he pretty much sexually assaulted other monsters while killing the main characters love interest over and over again to punish him for his sins.

@Brainerist Not a specific type of zombie but that specifically spawned zombie always spawned in the same point regardless, whether or not you'll definitely encounter that specific zombie defines whether or not it is a boss. You'll definitely encounter the tank in the train, the church guy, the wedding witch, and Jimmy Gibbs Jr. And they will always spawn in the same spot on their specific stages, therefore as far as programming and spacial coding goes, they are bosses.
