Hoe the hell do you take down Timurid elephant artillery?!?!?! They crush my spearmen, shoot my ballistas and everything else doesn't even scratch them! Arghhhhhhh lol

@TalonMercenary Woah! Elephants is a fucking devastating unit but they go mad easily! Use some missle cavalry against them hoping that the missle barage will make the beats go frenzy! If that happen you nearly won the battle -frenzy elephands will attack and smash everything nearby and the enemy general will have to kill them -in the hope to save the rest of his army from his frenzy elephants!;) hehe Note: I've lost some battles playing as Timurids because my elephants went crazy...in my ranks!

@thentherewaslight: well, the best way to play in medieval 2 is to set everything to easy and then f*** the whole world. It's kinda fun, you can totally "zerg rush" or should I say "Longbowmen rush" all of them to hell :D

@thentherewaslight well, the Russians can't compare with the Mongols and the Timurid, have u ever play as Egypt and meet them head-on? Bloody nightmare, mate. Btw, if u play as the English, the English Longbow can own missle cavalry with ease.

@Sybbyl1 well, from what I saw, the Elephant atillery can do pretty much damage to their own army, but however, elephants are the strongest calvary in the whole game, well, it's nothing compare tho the Italian crossbowmen and English longbow though

@Sybbyl1 I once went elephant hunting with Russian Kazachs and Druzhina. ... Well. Elephants are somewhat herdable but also can quickly and effortlessly smash you cavalry. My archers and heavy cavalry would be running along and then (smash) dead cavalry.

This was playing almost the entire time that one of my 60 year old generals took a castle with just his bodyguard. Etienne the Mauler with 26 vs Prince Henrik the Wrathful with 604, a few years back. I don't think I'll ever see battles that small anymore, since I have a better computer...

I always get this music when my men have fought really long, theres barely any of them left in my units and im getting charged by heavy cavalry

The funny part is, it never fell, I specifically made 4 units of dismounted Dvor and kept them picking off so many of their troops, but I placed them on the second wall, overlooking the main gate, once the Mongols breached and tried to get the ram to the next gate they were met with arrows from both my Dvor and from the towers hitting them at the flank, flaming arrows took out 3 of their rams and eventually they used the ladders, while their cavalry was getting picked off...

This music was played when my castle Bulgar was besieged by 3 Mongolian armies simultaneously for 3 turns each turn. My forces fought bravely and repelled each attack causing the Mongols severe losses. The song "Going home" after the battle, and "Destiny" before was just mind blasting to listen to during those sieges.

@Peristerygr ... their infantry was getting massacred by my Dismounted Boyar Sons and Dismounted Druzhina on the walls, at one point they managed to open the gate, but my spearmen finished off most of the cavalry at the gate and they just retreated. By this time my Dvor ran out of ammunition so they helped at holding the walls since they make decent melee fighters as well.

@Unit987654321 well this music remind me a gameplay in the Allepo region, where my dominion was attacked by mogols, alle the mogolian forces were concentraded in that area so it was very hot situation there for example my two armies vs their three, and dthe battle was long around 45 min both sides in full manpower he lost two generals and one his army was completly vanished, but i lost that battle
