Apparetly that guy doesn't have Ep2. Because the Pink is for the Reflection which was brought to Gmod when Ep2 came out. Try getting Hl2: Ep2 and it should be fixed.

The pink reflections are caused when the user presses the windows key or alt-tab, (closing the game without exiting the game. Then re-entering it. Its a graphical glitch, happens to most user's.

for a first attempt it was very good - the biggest let done was the professional grade on the AAE but very amateur style of the game graphics - I have no doubt you'll have people offering help left-right-center but I'm on steam / xfire after 8pm GMT

Yeah. Half Life 2 is an actual game with a plot and is extremely linear.

Gmod is sort of hard to explain. You build things basically. Just look up some videos of it and you'll get the idea. People make some really crazy things, but you won't know how hard they are unless you've tried.
