WOR was not the only RKO station to use a movie show title previously used by an ABC O&O (in this case, WABC); in Los Angeles, KHJ (now KCAL) called their afternoon movie series "The 3:30 Movie" within a year of KABC's 1980 cancellation of their "skein" (per Variety newspaper verbiage).
