  • Stu Block is a ridiculously talented vocalist! Incredible vocal range! His work on Iced Earth's latest album is insane!

  • @ngK44 I agree, one of the greatest modern vocalists I've heard... The amount of ranges and styles blows my cock off.

  • I don't think Stu has the appropriate voice to be in Iced Earth. WTF : Progressive Death Metal and Power metal

  • @michal241294 iced earth is power AND thrash so therefore he does fit,if u listen to iced earths stuff with gene or greely it was alot less power metal and more thrash, for instance the original version of colors or angels holocaust were for theyre time very fuckin heavy

  • @metalmeansme Ehh, Iced Earth is more like 70 to 30, Power to Thrash metal but Stu really does fit Iced Earth big time! He can sing everything they've put out like a BEAST! I really hope they keep him for a long time!

  • @brakoify i do to,im going to see them live september 17th and am really looking forward to seeing stu perform

  • @brakoify I hope they keep him forever. I do hope Matt wont return to IE anymore, it would harm himself. I mean srsly, in out in out... pls not once again in and out ^^

  • @michal241294 I disagree...

  • Iced Earth

  • This is pretty good, but it would be a lot better without the clean singing.

  • @GatX375 you would be alot better without the clean singing.

  • I wonder if Stu will remain in Into Eternity now that he will front Iced Earth.

I think he has much more potential with Into Eternity.

  • @PanagosGr33kG134EVER agreed, Into eternity is better anyway

  • @PanagosGr33kG134EVER He probably will, a lot of vocalists are in more than one band

  • @PanagosGr33kG134EVER very much agreed. Most of the iced earth stuff i've listened to sounds like a total waste of stu's vocal versatility..

  • @ZTellisZ stu is a total waste to iced earth, step on the other side of playing field. iced earth will single handedly make or break Mr. Block. Im voting on the fact that he will be broken

  • @ZTellisZ jon schaffer is a genius song writer. every singer IE have had have had the perfect songs written for them. i think IE will have similar songs to the Ripper era with Stu so i'm quite sure it will be a sweet combo

  • This will be interesting. I think he is a worthy replace as Frontman for Matthew Barlow, maybe it will be way better than with Matthew.

I mean i'm a big Matt fan, but to be honest, since his rejoinment to Iced Earth he wasnt that good at all anymore. He got out of breath way more often than before and his face always looks as if he suffers pain when singing. His retirement was way too long and he couldnt effort as much as he would have needed into singing because of his family and Job as a Cop.

  • Christian's upper register isn't as powerful as Stu's but they both can pretty much do anything with their vocals which is pretty damn awesome. I like both. I also think Christian has a better growl, but it's preference.

  • @raistlinmajere100 Christian doesn't scream. I like both their growls. Stu has a broader range, but in the more normal singing range christian sounds better. Stu's range just makes him so much fun to listen to, and that counts for a lot.

  • @ZTellisZ Yeah I know he doesn't scream, but he does get up into the higher register on some notes, higher register for him at least. I'd have to find the songs where he does it but it seems like the higher end of the 4th octave maybe even up into the 5th. But yeah I agree, I like Christian's normal range better, it's beautiful.

  • AWESOME!!!!! What i would give to see Them Live Again XD!!!!!!!!!!

  • Talented vocalst...Not every band gets a vocalist like this.

  • ment these guys fucking sick band indeed

  • Huh, prog-death with a power metal chorus. I never would've thought it'd sound this good..

  • @roundhousekicker88 I know, right? I was as surprised as you.

  • I met stu he's so chill

  • i liked it till the chorus.

  • dont fck with metal hoes

  • First you must be able to change the voice so great!

  • duuuude. How thhhe fuckkk... Listenin to this grabs u by the fuckin balls man.. no pun intended.

  • Into Eternity, Brazil wants you

  • this is my favorite band in the fucking world i just wish they were more popular

  • The singer is so good, and one of the most dynamic metal singers of all time

  • @AustinKay Check out Christian Alvestam, or type in Scar Symmetry- Morphogenesis.

  • @RunningWithin

Älvestams range or skills are nothing compared to Stu.

  • @Palikka92 You didn't think so? Maybe you need to check out some more of Scar Symmetry.

They're both good, I prefer Christian to Stu, though. Anyway, just sharin' the metal, both bands are epic.

  • @RunningWithin

I've been listening Scar Symmetry for years now. Have you checked Solution.45?

  • this song is great!!!! :D yeeeeyyy

  • reminds me of priest

  • Stu Block <3

  • FUCK YEA YA!!!!

  • PUTOS AMOS

  • Into Eternity!!! holy shit, this is amazing. I loveeee his voice!!!!

  • @liliumsnovels667 I'm with you there man! Iced Earth's next CD will rock! Stu is the new singer for ICed Earth. I like this band! They kick major ass! What I want to know is, will ICed Earth's new CD sound like this or, will it be different since they're power metal? My only gripe with death metal is, you really can't make out the vocals without reading the lyrics. LOL. But, the music is great!

  • @liliumsnovels667 Really? Lovie? As in with a much overemphasized "E"?

  • Awesome band

  • entering vocals remind me a bit of Painkiller.

these guys beat the hell out of protest the hero, and are not as well known. it is unfortunate.

  • Into Eternity and both PTH kick ass. Plus, comparing their most recent albums, "Fortress" is 1000x better than "The Incurable Tragedy"

  • protest the hero fag sucks.

  • "protest the hero fag sucks"

Nice grammar, how's that third grade education working out for you?

  • @bgryle a fucking grammar nazi!

  • too much big words?

  • yeah, yeah, protest the hero still sucks though

  • never heard them so i don't mind :)

  • @bgryle that's what fags who listen to protest the gay are like.

  • Cool story bro

  • man,basicaly,they are a bit known.....they palyed in gigantour 2..u know...along with megadeth,lamb of god,opeth etc...sorry for my english

  • I was thinking that same exact thing.

  • @Simplybehonest Painkiller... the original by Judas Priest, or the cover by Death?

  • what the hell happened with just being open minded about other genres...i mean i really only listen to Rock/Metal, but as far as sub genres go, im not picky

  • Jesus, sick solo. This band is quickly becoming one of my favs.

  • thats exactly what i said to call them...

  • you can easily pick what genres this band takes from anyways if you knew shit about metal as a whole and not just nit pick genres like Robo said death power and progressive 2 of which are my favorite genres.. but the sad thing about subgenre type bands like this is that some people wont listen to their talent because they dont like a typical brand of metal (death, power,NWOBHM, "heavy metal, or what have you) as long as its not labeled "metalcore" im fine with it but metalcore isnt metal anyways

  • But then you are contradicting yourself and missing cool music too. Between the Buried and Me are considered somewhat metalcore and they fucking rock. I used to disregard everything that was 'core' too, but there still are some really sick bands. And is is bad to not be metal?

  • oh i agree that some metalcore bands do have some major talent and i used to listen to many metalcore bands but as i grew so did my taste in music im not trying to say metalcore is horrible i just dont like metalcore because of the "scene" around it and the horrible breakdowns this is all MY opinion and when i talk about metal and not listening to it just because of the genre im not counting "core" bands because like i said metalcore isnt metal sorry if it sounded contradicting earlier

  • @Immortaga

    Very well said.

  • I just hate it when ppl chat crap in youtube without knowing their subject

  • i read a review about the Scattering of the Ashes album and the reviewer said this was the most forgetabble song on the album...

really? the chorus and verse are fucking awesome...

  • Because people see this version is longer and wonder if it's a "Full Version" of the song or something, which makes them click this video instead of someone elses.

  • One of the best and most up-and-coming black metal bands, and always sounding better with each album they put out.

  • this is not black metal...ignorant idiot

  • i couldn't care less what you call metal. Theres too many genres of metal to get as obsessed as you obviously are over what to call it, when all you need to do is enjoy the music.

  • never the less even thought ur right when ppl get picky over sub sub sub genres this is nothing close to black metal and if you had any clue what black metal was youd release what an ignorant idiot you look liek stop standing up for yourself, admit your wrong and try again next time no ones holding it against you we'll all forget jus shush

  • personally, scene kids care way too much what their favorite music and/or bands are called, and need to get their ears exposed to a wider music variety. I can admit that calling 'black metal' is a little inaccurate only cuz they're not from Northern Europe singing about snow & ice, and killing nuns, and calling Into Eternity 'heavy metal', would be more accurate, on the basis that they have more influences in their music than just death, black, and power metal.

  • i think the most accurate description of into eternity's genre is "progressive death metal"

  • Yeah, thats pretty much the most precise title for their music. They could play along side Opeth and Dream Theater, or even Rush and Cannibal Corpse because of all the different metal influences in their music.

  • exactly damn thoughs scene bastards straight to hell

  • ur so raven... i mean, metal.

  • Your An idiot

  • ur a bore.

  • yea they are pretty sick

  • love this song but my fave song by them is isolation

  • i got this cd in the mail by mistake. i'm not sure if i should keep it or not. after all, it was adressed to me, but i ordered several other cd's, all from other stores, but i'm not sure which one this is from because i didn't get the invoice. and i can't find any info on any of the sites similar the return address on the box...

  • fuck it man you lucked out, keep it

  • the seller was cool, he gave me the one i originally ordered and let me keep this one as well when i offered to send it back :D

  • yes keep it

  • yo this may be late duu but keep it it is awesome!!

  • well at the time i had it and it was still un-opened and i didn't know the band or the music or what the return policy was that the company had that i bought it from

  • Stupid youtube, well

"2:54 to 2:57 sounds like one of there other songs ...."

It sounds like the solo from Splintered Visions

  • bob kan suck myah left nut

  • He's reachin' for it aswell XD

  • well i hope he dosent make the right one jelous .... :D

  • 2:54 to 2:57 sounds like one of there other songs ....

  • Splintered Visions Solo

  • they are called 'Intro's'

  • why is there a silence from 3:54 to the end? is the guy who put this together retarded?

  • I think it has to do with the quality. Making it longer makes the quality better or some shit.

  • i love how in several of their songs...the different but cool breakdowns sound off but it sounds great to me...and they also use alot of screaming variations...great unique band

  • such a goos song to listen to when ur high :P

  • request denied by hypocrisy is fucking sic as shit when ur lit... its really not good at all if ur sober.. its like... if pink floyd was death metal

  • what the fuck are you on?

  • dunno but what is it? I gotta try that stuff. damn.

  • there beginnings on there songs are amazingly awesome sick

  • This guy is the best singer Ive ever heard

  • wow, in this song they sound A Lot like iced earth, mostly as far as the vocals go anyway. the only album i have ever listened to by these guys is the buried in oblivion, which is a lot more screaming sortof, i dunno. cool song though.

  • definately, by far, the best Into Eternity song..

    EVERRRR

  • Yeah, it was so casual, but it was awesome because we look up to them. Their fill-in guitarist, Shred Sean, was drunk and there was a bunch of cops in Waffle House, it was amusing.

  • I thought about going to see them at Amos' Southend, but I found out that they were in town right when the show started, which was around 8pm. I had other plans that night, but it's okay. My band opened up for them in Spartanburg, SC, and we got to hang out with them and eat Waffle House together, they're awesome people.

  • Sorry but Iced Earth is good but not MILES better... In my opinion, Iced Earth is more experienced but Into Eternity is better. But either way, Iced Earth isn't THAT much better, not even close.

  • um kay. i like iced earth way more

  • lol douche

  • who are you?

  • um spiderman..dumbass

  • YAY SPIDERMAN!

  • you seeing them in D.C.? Spetember 25?

  • Best Metal band to ever come out of Canada for sure!

  • divinity kicks ass, too (;

  • "And I fall into nothing

    Forever jaded

    And I hold onto nothingness

Dissolving my senses" man i never get tired of that!

  • they fucking rock!!! not their best song but i still love it!

  • stu block kicks most vocalists' balls. into eternity ftw!

  • Man, i can't tell you how much they rocked live when they played this song!

  • i just discorvered this band recently, because i am seeing iced earth in september in d.c., and Into Eternity is opening up for them, so i decided to listen to them, and they are so fucking good.

  • All hail Into Eternity

    \m/\m/

  • Into Eternity fucking rocks, one of my absolute favorite metal bands. I do however think this is one of their worst songs (though it is still really good). The only problem I have is that I find the vocals sub par in parts.

    HAIL INTO ETERNITY =)

  • so true, if u wanna talk about Serj, go to a Serj vid. if ur gonna comment here, talk about Into Eternity.

  • why the fuck is anybody talking about SOAD in a Into Eternity vid? ALL HAIL INTO ETERNITY!!!!

  • Why did I get thumbs down on the comment about Serj's solo stuff?

  • because people are dicks.

i gave you a thumbs up.

  • good band

  • Agreed, yeah!

  • I love this song man, It sounds like a kick ass 80's powermetal song combined with brutal Death vocals. This shows just how versitile Stu's vocals are, he's amazing.

  • IE of course. and also, ur Name sorta contradicts itself.

  • hey man i saw em at the same show!!!

  • ur så fucking lucky

  • It's good that soad fans come to appreciate Into Eternity. I started out my metal adventure with Soad, now I don't like it anymore (Mezmerize/Hypnotize blows, but the earlier albums rule). but Eternity is just godly.

  • yep u just summed up my relationship with soad hahaha

  • Yeah xD

Anyway, Serj's out with his solo stuff, which I find very emotional and beautiful.

  • me too

  • I love Into eternity his high voice is killing me by every listening to it omg ! they are sick i love them pain through breathing, Surrounded by night, out and nothing are some of my favorite songs from IE !

  • Into Eternity Rox my Sox off!!!!!!

  • INTO ETERNITY ROX singing covers all vocals and guitar is insane lol kant wait to see them on one of the guitar heros :P

  • haha i live in regina too:P

  • this band is amazing

figures eh there from the ''great'' white north lol

    canada ftw!!

  • canada. leading the world in being just above america.

  • Indeed I am, Soad...

    Indeed I am...

    <3

  • he sings so fucking high man its crazy they played this song at quebec's DT show it was killing

  • This band with john petrucci would be GOD.

  • Petrucci plays way different stuff tho.

  • tim roth has his own playing style and i enjoy listening to it a lot more than JP's. but JP is still God at guitar.

  • Best fucking band ever!

  • dude this song is awesome. this band is awesome.

  • I can't get enough of this fucking song or album.
