No. They refuse to replace it and realized with this situation that it's the new programming in 2008 and newer units. The newer ones are extremely sensitive to traffic counting devices near major cities. Basically told me too bad. Mike in service is in a bad position right now with this dilemma, and the receptionist that takes calls is extremely condescending especially since she gets these calls ALL day now. I strongly recommend people do their homework on this before buying a new one.
What exactly happened when you sent yours back? My V1 does the same thing as the one on the right. Constant false warnings to the point where I wouldnt be able to distinguish an instant-on encounter from a false alert
