  • those photos seem like close ups and crops not real macro, and most of them are out of focus

  • niđe veze jarane ;)

  • terrible

  • @TheFlightLog hahaha

  • not really "macro..."

  • nice ones for a compact but pay more attention to the background

  • what's the song on 3:44???????? nice pictures btw!

  • nice shots

  • Beautiful collection of images with very interesting subject material. Thoroughly impressed! Keep up the good work.

  • nice shots man

  • Aaaaaaaaah. Not a DSLR. That makes sense. See if you can hold the camera a little more steady when you take the shots and you should be able to get a bit more clarity. Also, instead of using the "macro" setting, try messing with the manual setting and playing around with the ISO and shutterspeed. Even some point 'n shoots let you have a lot of control if you play with the settings ^^

You have a couple gems in there though. Keep shooting ^^

  • the sx 110is do better result...but i suggest you dslr with close-up lens or macro lens if you want it professional...but compact point and shoot do the job...

  • r u shootin in RAW's or jpgs?

  • i shoot in JPEG only because my camera cannont do RAW. but if i had RAW i would most likely shoot in RAW

  • @guitarjoe08 no need to shoot in raw, raw is for people who do not know how to use their on camera settings, You did a good job as it is. Memory card manufacturers love to hear people say they want to shoot raw, cause now you need to buy a new memory card that's faster and more expensive. keep shooting dude, the show was nice.

  • @oskerb Obviously you don´t know what you are talking about. Raw is good in high contrast situations. It can make pictures of 12 or 14 bits and store a lot more color information on every pixel. Then you can rescue the blown out whites or the almost solid blacks. Please researsh some more before saying such things...

  • What kind of camera do you use? I'm just starting in photography and i need a good camera and also not cheap but less expensive than those Nikon D5000's. If you could tell me, that would be great because these are good photos.

  • its a Canon PowerShot S5-IS

its not a DSLR, it just has a macro button

  • @guitarjoe08 LOL

  • If your in the USA, get the Canon PoweShot SX10IS

if your in Europe, get the Canon PowerShot SX1IS

with whichever one you get, buy a Raynox DCR-150 or Raynox DCR-250. you will be happy with the results

  • Thanks man

  • @guitarjoe08 just get the 1Ds mk III

  • check into some used cameras on amazon and ebay. you can get a used d80 for around $580 or a d70 or d70s for around $300-$400. and they have auto modes as well as full manual modes.

  • @XxFinalboss81xX i would reccomend either the sony a290 or a390 the a390 is £50 more but has a tilting screen plus live view, these cameras are great and reccomended by the gadget show. They will set you back about 300-350

  • u killed the fly lol

  • if everyday subjects were seen up close we'd never know whats coming at us. v_v

  • Are you using a XSI Rebel? What Macro lens do you have I am new to SLR's. Thanks

  • my camera is actually a canon powershot s5 is so it doesnt have interchangeable lenses like your DLSR. the best i can say is google it and see what comes up. good luck with you macro photography
