@Bluedrake42 No Mando Missiles (unless specifically added into some mission) in the UO mod pack, but ACE2 covers some of that stuff quite nicely.

Just managing the radio seemed stressful enough. Add in piloting, coaching the gunner, looking for threats to yourself, looking for convoy threats, handling countermeasures, then losing the tail and trying to recover from that, man, that was pretty freaky. When you started to spin, it didn't seem like a game any longer. I was worried.

You've totally missed the point of this game, haven't you? ArmA 2 is a descendant of the famed VBS training systems, and are meant to be played this way. This "fun" you speak of is in the realism itself.

You also have to realize that your definition of fun does not readily apply to others. This video shows this group's definition of enjoyment. If you can't tolerate it, go somewhere else.

@shadowblade145 Nope - it's all fully simulated radio traffic. No effects. We use the ACRE mod which is a fully realistic radio suite.

Hm. Does UnitedOperations make use of ACE? I run a long running but small PMC based group that likes to get involved as supporting roles such as supply & some convoy/personal security while bigger military based units do operations in the same game world (Really increases immersion). So a joint op but, not quite. That something UO would accept in their games after a talk and some designing?

@KirbyHC We're open to all styles of gameplay. You don't need to do a joint op to play with us, just come on at any time. There are usually 10-40 people in the server at all times.

He saw me watching this video and some other ones about Arma 2 and said that this game is the most realistic war simulation that he has seen!
