  • Cool to see this video, I used to collect these rocks as a kid!

  • Wonderful rocks, and beautifully presented. Rocks are our oldest things on the planet, and tell so much of the past. The beautiful igneous Rocks around Lake Victoria in Tanzania record the ancient history of the lake itself. I've uploaded a short video of some of them on my youtube site, under Speak Swahili, Dammit.

  • I can't thank you enough for this valuable information that you have provided. It may seem like useless information to some. When your knowledge of this material reflects your final grade, its helps a lot to have videos like these. I am much more of a visual learner than by reading.

  • Hello eHow, i was wondering if u could help me out with something i have had for many yrs. It is a smooth rock, pinkish, orange and i think yellow. What kind of rock is this? I tried to find it on line, but can't. I appreciate your help.
