The owners of the two horses are not "friendly" with each other. This is a sport, not a game. People name race horses after anything they wish, including life experiences & insight suggested by others within their team.

As I understand it, the track announcer, Larry Collmus, looked at the names of the horses before calling the race and joked about how funny it would be if Mywifenosevrything and Thewifedoesntknow were to be ahead at the end. The yell at the end was Larry Collmus, I assume shouting in both laughter and relief that he had made it through the call, considering what he had said earlier! NewJerseyNews posted a brief interview with Mr. Collmus on 08/26/10, as did InsideEdition on 08/25/10.

Similarly, "The wife doesn't know" is how the man brags to his friends BEFORE she catches him fooling around (also, it could be said by a third party via gossip, as in, "The wife doesn't know, the poor dear.")
