I don´t know, how in the world can be a person, who gave this boy less than 5 stars. This is truly amazing and the part two is even better.. I also play this waltz and it´s really difficult... If there would be twelve stars, I would give it to you..
A magnificent performance. I respect your virtuosity, accuracy and interpretation. Five stars. PS: I never could get the flourish right at 3:59 (and following) and had to settle for Liszt's ossia.
wonderful job, you can play this at such a young age :D i'm about the same age as you, and i'm going to learn this soon.
advice: at the starting about 1:47 to 2:00, you could try to make the left hand more audible. and before the glissando, do pause to let the suspense heighten. lastly, try to put in more emotions for this piece. but overall, a good intepretation :D
Fantastic playing! I would only add little more wildness to some parts, because you played them in my opinion too smooth. But it's only a small detail and all of the work was played perfectly!
Bravo. Excellent rendition. You have played it a bit slower which actually is bringing the real melody out, unlike most other professionals who for some reason are playing it at the speed of light.
More "fire" in the opening piece would bring more charm though.
is it true that liszt heard paganini's crazy playing and thot he shuld up his game ?? like he strove to make his pieces super hard and virtuostic after hearing paganini idk i heard that
I then saw the video of his first efforts to play as a child and what struck me was the definite signs of inate talent, his hands already moved like a concert pianist after I day!
The mystery was solved when I read that his grandfather was a concert pianist.
Every good wish with your career as a pianist.
......I feel there's something awesome on the way!
and displays good composure and presence. He is obviously being well taught. There is considerable finesse already in evidence and hopefully as he gets older the fire and passion will emerge. Also ,I feel he will also develop the ability to produce more power as physical strength develops.I don't know his age at the time of the recording, but he does look still quite young.
Cleanly and brilliantly played. I commented to Kristian that, for my taste, it did not have enought "Devil" but his performance is so musical and well thought out that, each time I hear it, he is slowly convincing me!
My god. I can't belive that what I'm seeing and hearing is true. You are probably the best young pianist in the world. That's one of the most difficult piano works ever written and you play it with huge elegance!
Fantastic performance Kristian!!

Does anyone remember the old Franz Liszt and (Something) Pagannini teamup way back when?
Pagannini was a violinist, and was considered a demon because he played so fast and skillfully. As was Liszt.
They were the dynamic duo of the ages. They were like the Rock and Sock Connection (WWF reference) if anyone remembers that.

and displays good composure and presence.
