Ohman... I love listening to trance when I run (It's not techno!!!) You could try the thrillseekers .... stuff like "mr. blue" "reflect" "square one" or "morning after"? I just think all his first two Nightmusic albums are perfect for running. But it sounds like you want to listen to songs with singing :/ ... there's some good trance songs with vocals too like "sincere for you" or "always a fool"... Hope you don't hate these suggestions!
I am no Dj and I workout for fun so my Ipod is my partner most days. I always thought A Perfect Circle Mer De Noms has a great tempo to run to and lift . Nine Inch Nails with teeth is a good one. If you need something to really get you pumped or push you Try Hatebreed perseverance its a ton of bricks in your ear. Then if you like oldies man the Ramones and Kid Rock . Deftones around the fur. Of course who can forget Rage atm . People in the gym or trail will think you are a beast!!!
The new alice in chains is awesome for me- they're longer songs too, so the workout seems shorter. Love it. Also, the band Red, for whatever reason, has some good drumbeats that help me workout. What else.. Lenny Kravitz "get away" or "fly", whatever it's called. Maybe something from those will suit your taste. So good to hear from you!
Maybe you like Arctic Monkeys, almost all there songs are GREAT for running. I always listen to arctic monkeys when I go running, when the sun goes down, crying lightning and space invaders are the beste run-songs, in my opinion.
Do NOT run to the music of the bangles, really gets you out of your rythm.
Heads Will Roll - Yeah Yeah Yeahs Faster Kill Pussycat - Oakenfold & Brittany Murphy Ghetto Love - Spinnerette My Delirium - Ladyhawke Paper Planes - M.I.A Vlad The Impaler - Kasabian I Hear Wonders - David Holmes Thats Not My Name - The Ting Tings Beat Control - Tilly & The Wall It's Getting Boring By The Sea - Blood Red Shoes Jump In The Pool - Friendly Fires
Im the same with my laptop ha ha! My whole screen has come apart from the keyboard on the laptop and it's just a tiny wire keeping it together and it's still working ha. Plus the other day I tripped over the wire and snapped the charger in half and sent the laptop flying and the screen still survived ! I dunno what music you could listen to, Cobra Starship - Good girls gone bad, Akon, Cascada does some dance songs which you might like? Ha ha sorry I dont listen to much work out songs!
when i go for runs i listen to a lot of Lady GaGa songs. there really good to run to i put all her songs near the end of my playlist when i know that im going to be getting tired and then ill get all pumped and want to run for even longer. lol
It sounds like your computer will be lucky to make it to Xmas! ;-p As for music, remember that there are lots of sub genres of techno. There are tons of techno songs I love, and tons I hate. Go to Pandora(dot)com and put in the title of a techno song you DO like. It will take that song and find other songs that are acoustically similar. Each time it plays a new song, you give it a thumbs up or down to refine its playlist. And after a while, you'll have a playlist of songs you love!
I like uplifting music. A new day has come - Celine Dion Breaking Dishes - Rihanna Shake me like a monkey - DMB Desert Rose - Sting Black & Gold - Sam Sparro Dreams - The cranberries Raoul and the king of spain - Tears for Fears My moon my man - Feist Outta of my head - Ashlee Simpson In God's Country - U2 I like it rough - Lady Gaga Yellow - Coldplay Send me on my way - Rusted root
i <3 my workout mix its gives you hell-all american rejects you're so damn hot- ok go my life would suck without you- kelly clarkson don't trust me- 3OH!3 five minutes to midnight- boys like girls weightless- all time low untouched- the veronicas tubthumping-chumbawamba good gone girl, we are golden, and touches you- mika alive with the glory of love- say anything guilty pleasure-cobra starship through and through and through- joel plaskett happy listening!
I actually prefer listening to happy/relaxing music during exercises verses fast dance music because I feel they help me "zone out" and slow down my heart rate. I've been really into listening Lights and nevershoutnever.
Do you not have anyone to talk to in real life?

Have you tried Kaskade? They are techno, but they're really good. Their song 4am is nice. Janet Jackson is good to listen to for working out as well.
