Two of the biggest welfare charity cases on the world are because of government meddling and union legacy costs. The American banks charity cases and the American auto industry. American cant build a car worth a shit, partly because of unions partly because of their poor engineering. But the legacy costs of being forced to pay for people laid off forever is what drove the US automakers in to bankrupcy. Two of the groups, the greedy bankers and the lazy shiftless union workers are the cause.
So, you have this scrotebag who in his pitch shows a clip from Fox News! haha typical right-wing extremist! My union provides me with top notch benefits and a fair wage. My dues are one thing I'm PROUD to shell out money for. I'd feel like I was on welfare if I had the choice and didn't pay them. Right to Work laws kill Unions and heavily decrease the standard of living in Right to Work states. No UNIONS, No PREVAILING WAGE. That leaves you with MINIMUM WAGE!
I'm in a union, I get minimum wage. No health care, and 10% of everything that I earn ends up in union hands and eventually in the hands of tyrants in a monopolistic bit for power. I feel like a slave. I was reading the contract, and it describes me as property of the union. The union was hired as the sole and exclusive provider of human resources. Individual rights are protected in this republic, and if you disagree you are anti-American.
MARK MIX- ANOTHER MEGA-CORPORATION WHORE !!!!! Who funds "Right to Work" ? Wealthy Republicans who want you and your family to work on their plantations and sweat-shops at minimum wage. But don't worry, your job will probably end up in China anyway!!
All contracts should be voluntary. Anything else is coercion, and as such are not in the best interests of all parties involved. Voluntary contracts are win, win. Coercive union contracts are win, lose.
you dumb fucks complain about 35 dollar per month union dues that are tax deductible but you have no problem making several dollars less and hour and having little or no health care or retirement. If your stupid enough to not be claiming your dues as a deduction on your tax return then your just stupid. And you complain about union funding politicians? Who the hell do you think is paying this Right to work fool?! How much money are corporations paying for right to work legislation? dumbass!
They proclaim as a revolutionary principle the Right to Work. Shame on the American Proletariat. Only slaves would have been capable of such baseness.
The Union have outgrown their purpose and have become corrupt. They are so busy" protecting" their workers, they protect them right out of a job and a company right out of business
How the hell could Big Labor and employees possibly afford those lavish trips that were talked about on that Fox News report? The only possible answer: Fat cat lifestyles brought to you by union bosses making well over what they're worth thanks to all their power. It's a disgrace. A union boss in the same co. as the rest of his workers should NOT be making all that much more than rank-and-file employees. There's no reason. Local union boss is not a legitimate occupation. It's extra.
It's amazing that not a single Democrat (not even the Blue Dogs) seems to have watched reports like the one on Fox or said anything about it, esp. in Congress. I'd be outraged if I heard that my union bosses (not that I'm in one currently) had paid well over $1,000 for some lavish vacation at a resort, while I'd be struggling to feed my family during this recession.
You say union bosses make more then there worth only because you are not getting paid what your worth. That's exactly what right to work laws achieve for big corporations like the ones that pays the bills for National Right to Work Foundation.WISE UP MAN. Right to work laws will only reduce America to a third world nation. We're well on are way already.
Yea. This after Obama kept claiming in the campaign trail that we'd see a new era of transparency, just like how he claimed in his address at Strasbourg we'll have a "new era of responsibility."
Sadly, like George W. Bush, Barack Obama is a master of doubletalk.

Get rid of the unions and you will be working in sweat shops like we had at the turn of the century. Don't think for a minute it can't happen again.

What truth???????????????????
Only lies to bring down hard working people to slave labor.
Large corporations are sucking the wealth out of this country and unions are the only ones left who care enough about you to stop them.

These right to work idiots are not working class people.
They cannot help me get the salary or the benefits I deserve the way that my union can.
This right to work crap is hurting the working man more than anything else.

Like any of those documents will ever see the light of day. This administration has the transparency of a stone wall.
