Sims 2 (PS2) and Sims 3 were cool

I wouldn't say bad graphics, IMO they are still good even today, but not as a comparision as the others, but if i want a game that looks so real to real life, i'll walk out the door thank you, i still play the sims 1 to this day, fun cartoony like gameplay graphics, escape from real life and spend hours playing it.

I first got the sims 2 when I was 10 years old then my mom got me the sims unleashed and we didnt know it was for the sims 1 but then we figured it out and my auntie gave me her deluxe TS1 and it came with house party and superstar.

Oh my god, I remember this.

I think it was the first I saw of the sims. It's the picture with all those pets on it that I remember. I was thinking about this earlier. I remember wondering when I got the original sims why it had no pets like what I saw on the advert.

Look. The sims 1, was incredible. It was thé game, with alot of cool expansions. The sims 2, was a huge step. From the sims to the sims 3, is another big step. The sims 3 is ultra-realistic, and its still fun to play. Some people just seem to like old-skool games. So it's very logical that u like those games more.

it's funny how games have so many disc on the first release but then after months of marketing they release a pack of some expansion packs with it and only have 1 disc, like the sims 2 double deluxe edition which back then Sims 2 have 4 disc and night life have 2 disc and the celebration stuff have 1disc, so shouldn't that be like 7 disc? no, it's only 1 disc

no, its if they use CD disks or DVD disks... normal dvds may keep up to 10 gig, but the most a normal cd holds, is just 700mb

@CupBoyProductions yeah i agree, with sims 1 you have really long load times when you go to other lots (you couldn't even go to other lots without hot date or later expansions), the create-a-sim is absolute fuck all, there were no opportunities, and there is also another tonne of stuff you can't do. but i still love sims 1, mainly for its cheesy commercials! they make you want to collect them all, because they all are so similar in every way and yeah im gonna stop typing now because no room left

@TheBloo4 Actually we didn't give up fun for graphics.. I'd say we gave up fun for reality. Ever since the Sims 2, Maxis has been striving for the sims to be more realistic which of course includes amazing graphics. That also means that most of the crazy antics in the sims 1 were traded for more life like actions which does suck, but the sims 3 isn't all bad. I actually like it. Sims 1 is my fav though
