@mordred612 no thanks. peter jackson has enough over deserved fame for taking other peoples stuff and making it his own - with computer graphics. id rather see the initial works of art and enjoy their mystique and creativity executed in the era. most of the computer stuff looks inorganic, lacks in craftsmanship and moves on plotted out points of exact fluid motion.

The Minoton was a pretty cool Harryhausen monster, but it's too bad that 85% of his scenes involved rowing for possibly the least interesting villains in the Sinbad movies Harryhausen worked on. It would have been cool to see him fight the heroes. That said what a creation!

Minoton was under used.Should of gone out fighting an arsinotherium.Which ray harryhausen always wanted to use. Also i would of given it a javelin and a sickle sword as well as a spear.Like the warriors of old from the bible and ancient myth.

Minoton definitely deserved better. They should've had a three way fight between him, Trog, and the sabertooth. That probably would've topped the skeleton fight from Jason and the Argonauts.

The minoton was supposed to fight the trog.But then the script writers changed their minds.Deciding a smilodon would be a better opponant for the Trog.The minoton was underused without doubt.Personaly i dont think it would of beaten the trog.

I agree. I think the Trog would have beaten the Minoton if they fought. The Trog seems to be just as strong as Minoton (if not stronger) plus Trog seems to be much faster

I saw this at a drive in theater at age 11 and let me tell you; when you're 11 and parked in a car they haven't made since 1973 with the gear shift in the dash board, that's right, a lever in the dash board, and it's a summer night with a hint of twilight left and you have the smell of Off on your skin mixed with popcorn (that you stood in line watching teenagers in front of you with their hands in each others back pockets to get) a movie like this godd*man transports you to another world.

This is to me the worst of the Sinbad movies! The Minoton was the best thing about this movie!I wish they had him fight the Giant caveman [instead of that horrible looking sabertooth]and Sinbad and his crew at the end of the movie. but he just got crushed by a block of stone.This movie was low budget when compared to the other sinbad moives!
