yeah its a really good guitar, me and my dad have jap fender strats and gibson melody makers and stuff :L . and we still think this is a beastly guitar, putting some dimarzio's in it or some other pickups

Good review :) has swayed my decision to but one, they seem bright, clean and funky ;) i saw this in exactly the same colour butterscotch ftw :D but was skint :/ what's the affinity all about? Btw you play decent funk.

@shinggum This is a great guitar.  all I did originally was a set up. It sounds and plays awesome. The thin profile was something for me to get used to. I recently put in Fender CS texas specials... it sounds AMAZING now.

I have this same guitar. it's very bright sounding and I find it sounds best with the tone at about 5, and volume down to about 7.

I play it through a Blackheart handsome devil and Ibanez Tubescreamer. I cut back on the presence on the amp too.
