I have the cheaper one and I really like it. It needed a good set up but ofcourse its not as good as the german models. But for the money I think it kicked all other guitar brands like Hagström, Epiphone etc. I have a recording with my guitar at my channel (the infosection has a link, I didnt upload it myself). Its the German made model. The cheaper one, the Very Thin Contemporary model is made in China, but is also a decent guitar for the money.

check out Hofner's site, but i would be surprised if it were not made in Germany

@cartoonlike Germany. It is the Verythin JS. The Contemporary Series (CT) are made in China.
