Lisa is performing in an Art's Centre literally five minutes away from me right now, and I didn't know until today, so of course the tickets sold out. :( Oh well, there's a next time.
Much as I love Lisa's voice and overall persona, I have to admit I find the new album pretty disappointing. There's only 3, maybe 4 memorable songs and the rest are substandard and pretty forgettable. I think that she's not a natural songwriter, perhaps she'd be better off co-writing songs..

Ahh, what a fantastic album. A couple of the songs sounded similar to the old album, but the rest were even better! Beautiful, beautiful stuff.
Definitely a natural songwriter :)
