  • I can remember only 3.141592653

  • this is how much i remember of Pi.... 3

  • you would think learning all them numbers he would learn to get a hair cut

  • He's sitting in front of a computer reading it off, why does no one get this?!

  • holy shi- O.O

  • NEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRRDDDD!!! hehe awesome.

  • next time do 314159265358979323846246 digits of Pi

  • Sometimes a person's phone number comes up in this sequence.

  • You're such a geek. I love it!

  • It seems too linear to me. Let's stretch pi out in a spiral pattern on each of 3 dimensional axis and only display where each like numbers intersect.

I wonder if it would end up looking like the deep object array of galaxies.

  • the question is: is that rounded up or down

and now do the same with tau?

  • Do you seriously do these Pi videos to prove your eyes can close? Or to let them rest after not blinking for a year of videos? Because I'd believe it.

  • It's easy to memorize 200 digits in a couple of hours. The difficult part is to put them in the long-term memory.

  • omg HOW?! =OOO

  • Speechless...

  • Me and my partner plan to put this on repeat and fuck to it.

  • amazing i only know 53 digits

  • Comment removed

  • how long did it take her to memorize that amount?

  • Bullshit ! What's the caper here ?

  • there are mental tricks that can be done to associate digits with elements like letters or symbols, and it helps memorize them.

if you convert each digit to a letter in the alphabet, and then make up a story in you head with words starting with those letters,it can be much simpler to memorize, even though this is a tough challenge for sure.

  • @alatheir Interesting nice tip !

  • @Abu7929

i read it in some book a while back from the person who at the time was the guinness world record holder for memorizing the longest series of random digits.

  • m... no creo que sea particularmente una información elemental que deba de aprender hasta ese punto, pero... dios!!!!, eso a sido ASOMBROSO.

  • Why!? I only learned 8!

  • That'll look awesome on your resume.

  • son, i am delight!

  • She's a droid.

  • u asian

  • I can only do about 20 :-(

  • I am sorry, I wasn't paying attention. Could you repeat that please?

  • Wow. You're amazing. You're pretty. You're...awesome haha. Now I'm going to make it my life goal to learn Pi. How long did it take you to memorize this?

  • That's amazing. I suppose you're brilliant now as well as beautiful.

  • O.O

  • You're brilliant. A bit scary at times but brilliant.

  • has he memorized a string of numbers, is he doing some sort of calculation or is he peeking?

  • I know only the digits Type O Negative taught me.

  • Are you a wizard?

  • Congrats, your superior math skills make you seem even less like a female

  • @jhiller21 .. What?

  • I can do the same with 1/3

I know it all by heart

    0,333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333

  • This turns me on!"To math of coarse".

  • You are amazing!!!

Fun fact(s): the 99,999 digit of Pi is 4.

(the 100,000th digit of Pi is 1.)

  • You're not human, are you?

  • Comment removed

  • Congrats!!! You have the superior memory of--a chimp! ^_^

  • @tokenasianguyadd

and a majority of the human race.

  • @tokenasianguyadd Never knew chimps were geniuses.

  • @Pokemon978IsBackOn Chimps aren't geniuses--they just have better memories than humans! It's probably a survival trait.

  • How the hell did u memorize all that??

  • @whoo689 "How the hell did u memorize all that??", To be perfectly fair with you, you have already memorised more than that, for example you know allot more than 314 words. I've only memorised around 200 digits of pi, and it's quite easy, just allot of repetition. What you could do is learn one extra decimal of pi each day, in a year you’ll know it to 365 places, and it shouldn’t be too difficult.

  • @bradkey98765 words have meaning to us though, remembering random digits that have no pattern (that man has yet to find) is much much much harder to do, because they're just numbers to us. It's also a lot of dedication for something which is (forgive me) totally pointless to remember.

Anyway, nice work there ZJ, I'll give the benefit of the doubt and assume that was correct :P

  • @Krazed2Kraze Yeah completely agree, although most people probably have already memorised many digits / random character strings, like post codes, phone numbers, costs of items, and when you love pi because you are strange like me memorising it is rewarding because pi is awesome. For me I just listened to an mp3 file of the first 200 ish digits a few times a day for a week since my memory for sound is very good.

  • @MegaEpictroll "Epic" come back, good to see your firing on all 8 cylinders.

  • he wrote it on the back of his eyelids. hes cheating

  • rmuser, this is awfully self-gratuitous of you! Your memory is so sharp that I'm sure you'll have no issue responding to my comment on your profile.

  • 315 digits congrats

  • 2:09 rest of the password continued..5588174881520920962829254091715364367892590360011330530548820466521384146951941511609433057270365759591953092186117381932611793105118548074462379962749567351885752724891227938183011~

  • wait, r u gonna memorize more and more numbers every year?

  • @ShadowWolf119 Yea. He will be the first one to discover pi starts repeating itself after the trillionth digit. At this rate that will be in 5 years.

  • You holy mothatruckin amazingly make-me-brown-my-pants GENIUS!!! O_O How the hell did you memorize ALL of that!

  • and I cant remember wtf I had for dinner last night.

  • Haha, Me ArmyRanger871, me no need Pi. ArmyRanger Smash!!! ArmyRanger need no maths, it make head hurt. Math no bring me nothing. Herp-a-derp-a-derp!!!

  • I follow your videos and appreciate your thoughtful and logical arguments. I do not know your current activities or future plans, but I urge you to consider channeling your energies in directions that will maximize your impact on society. Is the time you spend doing your videos and memorizing PI the best way to do this? Perhaps you are in college and doing the vids / PI on the side, which is great, if you're not, that's fine, too. I just want you to go as far as you can!

  • How I wish I could enumerate PI easily.

the number of letters in each word is a digit.

    3.1415926

Only 8 digits, but you wouldn't believe how many times it comes in handy.

  • whats your IQ?

  • ama zing

  • Um. I know somebody who has no problem with phone numbers.... LOL Seriously, you have an awesome memory! I have a hard time with numbers myself. Anything with numbers and you might as well shoot me because you'll never get the right answer out of me.

  • Tonyonly2 I AGREE

  • I love you,ZJ. I only know about 100 right now.

  • lol wow ugly ass girl talking about Pie? and actually say the WHOLE fucking thing wow.. some one has WAY to much time on their hands.. faggets

  • @ArmyRanger871 "pie" "whole thing" ...what.

  • @ArmyRanger871 lol wow do you just come on here to show how dumb you are? 1st thats a guy and 2nd there is no end to Pi... Now lets hear all the hate speech you have to offer... aaaaaaannddd GO!!!!!!

  • @Legaltimes again who takes the time to say that and dude i got a life i could give less of a shit about pi it has no effect on anything for me

  • @ArmyRanger871 wow the you really do excel at saying the most ignorant shit. Pi is the reason your car works and doesn't grind into peaces. and im guessing you dont have enuff of a life to keep you from coming on line to show people how retarded you are... cant wait to hear the gem you come up with to rebuke.

  • @Legaltimes its actually just a bunch of numbers, the reason my car works is because of gas, an engine, and tires and a steering wheel.. not a number

  • @ArmyRanger871 I was implying that the engineering of your vehicle greatly depended on the number. Such as the calculation to make your cylinders and pistons perfect circles to allow for a tight mating surface, without leaks. But I guess it was a stretch for me to assume you could see that deep into the statement. My bad =( now shhhhh its time to just sit down and stop showing how dumb you are to random strangers.

  • @Legaltimes That's a guy?! o.O

  • @1010111101 sexy isn't he or she err what ever he likes to be called...

  • @ArmyRanger871 #1- It's PI.... and #2- there is no WHOLE fucking thing. It goes on infinitely.. dumbass.

  • Man.... And I was happy with 50.

    Good job indeed.

  • Let me take a shot at this, alright.

    3.14, DONE!

    What's the big deal?

  • Holy crap. ZJ, you're a machine!

  • I prefer Tau

    .tauday.com

  • She must've written it on the inside of her eyelids.

  • omg I love you

  • I'm shocked

  • am i cool for knowing the square root of 2 instead? 1.4142135623730950488016887242396 somethin another like that :D

  • HAAAAAAAAAAAAAX

  • As I say every year - all I know of pi is that I am going to hell when I die because I do not believe the biblical pi value of 3.

  • Comment removed

  • i memorized 3.1415926535897932384626433832795028841971693993 but thats it :P

i got bored in my class

  • YOU ARE FRIGHTENING!

  • I don't understand why people memorize the digits of pi. Can someone please enlighten me?

  • @t3hubern00b - Many reasons. Some people find it fun. Some say it is good training for your mind. Some people do it to be impressive.

  • @Jaelra Is there any practicality to it? It's starting to sound comparable to playing a video game.

  • It's Pi day Pi day fun fun fun fun lookin' forward to the weekend!.

    Sorry...I just saw the video...

  • Haha! Pi shirt, I saw that.

  • Bet you can't say that five times fast....

  • Do you read Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal?

  • I found this video stupid but i think my pc just orgasmed.

  • I love the shirt.. That's fucking awesome!

  • hot!!! yea talk math to me baby Wooot!

  • LOL! How many takes did it take you to say all that without slipping up? I used to memorize a LOT of numbers, but I've never tried a single number 314 digits long before. Impressive!

  • Talk Nerdy to me.

  • An incredible feat, personally I find it quite impressive. I'm lucky to be able to remember how to tie my shoes in the morning.....mind that could have something to do with the night before ;)

  • Three and a seventh is close enough.

  • Even I liked this.

  • @thisrandomchannel Don't forget if you need to recite it to stop a bio weapon. :)

  • I'm impressed, but then again I haven't checked that those are the actual digits of pi, so perhaps it's just a bunch of random numbers. I have confidence thought that they are in fact the correct digits, and will thereby maintain my state of being impressed.

  • Pi is 3 I tell you!!!

  • 31782387126378126387123124720958029830192830918231348912748726348913612736917387264928735996859789582873918739128398274982789427529472374193809859056969-7950624824111492835737456348752938472874798136127236498237484658973487562396417127312973487325934652837958279873495728947198641873428657895867583562674096803242643286858076724735468037452784323045867576358924235873572894725623482953459023578234896507689-70890979865231436512352657685879698-059634598264246324638957860956879485637985739 you're gay

  • I'm sorry but i just can not believe that you actually memorized that whole dam thing. no way in hell did you just do that! come on out with it! how you did you do it? you had your eyes slightly open and was reading it weren't you!?

  • @Ravinar well he started with 50 digits 3 years ago. So its not that big of a deal. Now if it was a new number within 24 hours that would be 1337.

  • But WHY?

  • OU812.

  • Now i'm curious; why did you decide to memorize this and how difficult was it, by your standards. Amazing nonetheless.

  •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

  • Pro tip: Memorizing the digits of π is greatly simplified if you use base π.

  • You realise that about 31,415,927 maths graduates are jacking off to this video. I'm not, but only because I'm in a public library.

  • Most of us don't need to know pi quite so accurately. (o:

  • He has that all tattooed on the inside of his eyelids in glow-in-the-dark ink... ;)

  • @CountSpanku1a Damn you CountSpankula I was going to say that.

Ok then. The earring is a mini radio receiver... Or ZJ is reading Braille.

No. I believe you ZJ. That was great. Now do it with the screen names of all your subs. X P

  • It is weird that I get off to this?

  • Lol, good job. I usually only remember pi to the first zero, and I'm an astronomer...

  • The Lincolnshire ZJ?

A cookie to anyone who knows what I'm talking about.

  • That was amazing! When I close my eyes all I can see are 1s and 0s. I think there was a 2 there once.

  • Great the transexual version of Rainman

  • Nerd! ;-)

  • I'm going to be honest with you, that was fucking amazing!

  • phone numbers in the far future. when we are at 314 digit dialing

  • Great. Now I have to change my fucking password.

  • @DarkMatter2525 Hahahaha That has to be one of the best comments I've ever seen :D

  • wow I can't even come close and I use that number nearly every day. Amazing!

  • CHEATING. YOU WROTE IT ON YOUR SCREEN AND ON THE INSIDE OF YOUR EYELIDS.

  • what a beautiful mind you have.

  • Surely a aspie trait . I memorized pie up to 90 digits? I stopped memorizing the numbers because I got bored.pretty impressive though.

  • I do believe that you memorized it , but it would have been more spectacular if you blindfoleded yourself just for the ones who are skeptical and are not sure if you're squinting , because the glare on the glasses make it hard to see your eyes.....but personally , I believe you memorized it and am blown away by it !

  • I'm from Maine, the Pi Cone State!

  • Nice, i can barely remember my 4 digit bank code most days.

  • Pi is exactly 3!

    :p

  • mathematician's porn right here ^____^

  • @theforgecustoms

    Got me off. ;-)

  • amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I'm glad that's not my phone number

  • Nuh-huh. That's impossible! ._.

  • people are so easily fascinated

  • Impressive.

  • Wow ZJ !!!

  • wow

  • I swear you are such WIN

  • Damn

  • can i have your babies?

  • GOD DAMN!

  • Pie day is my birthday

as well as Albert Einsteins : D

  • I prefer pie.

  • bloddy hell thats amazing

  • ZJ, what's your IQ? just curious, if you don't mind humoring me.

  • 1 take ? :)

  • Do you have a photographic memory? Impressive.

  • I hope you realise what the next goal is -- 3141! (I just realised I had trouble being sure if the "3141." Congratulations!)

  • I wonder why you kept your eyeglasses on while reciting. Perhaps to help you read your cheat sheet through slightly-open eyelids?

  • @kmsoileau

    How dare you!

  • @bowlsallbroken How dare I what? Ask a perfectly logical question? LOL

  • What d'you reckon happens if you type in the first few digits of Pi into a phone?

  • Awesome!

  • That´s incredible!! I can barely remember my friends and familys phone numbers!!

  • Fuck that. xD

  • All hail the Tao!

  • You only know 314 digits? Ha! I know 314159265358979323846264 digits.

  • Impressive! :D
