@blaineholloway Dude, I am fine with you expressing your opinion about the StalloneZone website. But to say that users on that site are not "true" fans, is pretty ridiculous. You said it in your first post, which is why I deleted it. Give me a logical reason as to why you think that way, and I will give you all of my Rocky memorabilia for free.

@rockybalboa101 Why did you delete my post? I don't want your memorabilia. Maybe you should go and check one of the French forums and see for yourself. It's hard to explain. The French forums just have bigger and better fans period. Some of the members on the StalloneZone are nice, and they mean well, but they're mostly new fans from 2006-08 when Rocky and Rambo came about again. The French forums have true fans of Stallone for years, and fans that research and buys Stallone items day in day out

So you are saying that a young fan that has discovered Stallone within the last 5 years is not a "true fan"? How about the several young fans who go back and watch all of Sly's old movies? And your not a "true fan" if you don't buy Sly items day in and out? You don't think a young person can research old movies? I think you need to really listen to the words you are typing.

@rockybalboa101 What I meant is, that, regardless of age, people that only seem to want to talk about Sly when he's on a good run (06-present), and that's what I experience on StalloneZone forum. It had an influx of people that only really cared when he got popular again. I went through he hard times with Sly, the times when nobody really knew if he'd even be lucky enough to make a Direct-to-TV movie again, let alone a feature film playing at your local multiplex. That's a true fan.

@blaineholloway I have been a member of the StalloneZone since it started in 1996. I joined the message boards in 2001. I I will tell you right now, that there were a TON of "true fans" during Sly's hard times. It makes perfect sense that when Sly had a comeback that there would be new fans. And a newer fan can be a "true fan" very easily. I guarantee that the people you keep referring to exist on ANY Sly website. My point is this: If you like Stallone, then you are a fan.

I've had enough with deserters, and you said that the people that came back in 2006 were still fans because all they needed to do was 'like him' to qualify. I don't share that opinion. It's far too liberal.

@blaineholloway Re-read my post. I said that when Sly had his comeback, he acquired NEW fans. Not old fans who deserted him. And yes, I give people "that I don't know" the benefit of the doubt because I "don't know them". Why would you be negative toward people you don't know? Based on what you are typing, and the fact that you aren't answering my questions, really makes you sound like you don't like young people who weren't able to experience Sly in his hay-day.

hey dude so what if people back then deserted sly....does that mean they arent still fans? If people dont like his new stuff that doesnt mean that they dont still like his old stuff...also i visited that french site you are talking about and i dont see anything on how that site has more true fans than stallonezone...if people like sly then they are a fan...plain and simple!
