  • Love the hat! <3

  • You people have a point. We should have let you go. The south has been a drag on us, we would be much better off with out you. The south is still the poorest and least literate part of the country. If you don't want to be a part of the USA, we should have let the door hit you hard on your asses on your way out instead of spilling precious American blood trying to keep you in.

  • @johnebeaty1 We're draggin' YOU down? That's a load of bull. I'd love to separate from people like ya'll! We'd be better off without jerks like you!

  • @johnebeaty1 I feel sorry for you. am a southerner not in body, but in spirit. They believed in freedom. Believe it or not, they could of won the Civil war if they had chosen to. The road to DC was WIIIIDE open. But they werent the bad guys. They were just defending themselves. They joined the union of their own free will, and left of their own free will. Open your eyes, I bet all your sources came from government sites. The good guys win because the winners write the history books.

  • I want this video on my MY C-2 phone.

  • This video went viral on Tuvalu

  • this moved me tears

  • Johnebeaty or what ever you're an idiot and ignorance of history is no excuse ,plus sir that was very nice playing.

  • It's a catchy tune, a good rendition, it's but TREASON! Advocates breaking up and destroying the United States of America.

  • @johnebeaty1

So is electing a communist mulatto, but they did that anyway. Let the man play the tune. One last thing, "I wish I was in Dixie, HOORAY, HOORAY"

  • @johnebeaty1 lol america was treasoning during the rev war if ya dont like us why are you on here... DONT TREAD ON ME!

  • @johnebeaty1 and it was not treason for the federal government to violate the CONSTITUTION and the 10th Amendment to the CONSTITUTION along with violating states rights. They have continued this treason since the War of Northern Aggression. It was the union that INVADED THE SOUTH.

  • Comment removed

  • @johnebeaty1 Get a history lesson before you come back to these videos again, troll! That is all

  • Can i get the notes for the song?

  • Hell yea!!! That's what I'm talking about!!!!

  • DEO VINDICE!!!!!!!

  • Who is this southern hick???

  • @PatriotAmerican777 He plays fiddle well. Name calling will lose its power. Shouting down and trying to call people from other walks of life names s/a redneck, hick, ignorant, stupid, etc., etc. You're the one who looks bad, (uncharitable, unlearned, undiplomatic, untaught, etc.)

  • God Bless the South!

  • That was damn beautiful. God bless the south.

  • @Briankey1960 yeah states rights, dude. The first thing CSA did was enact a draft - conscription & with later provision Oct 1862' exempting white slave owners who owned 20 slaves or more.

  • @Briankey1960 ,..they do and On October 11, 1862 the Confederate Congress amended the draft law to exempt anyone who owned 20 or more slaves. And the Civil War was about slavery.

  • @Briankey1960 ..,you forgot about. On October 11, 1862 the Confederate Congress amended the draft law to exempt anyone who owned 20 or more slaves. Ambrotype photography during the Civil War was known as time consuming process . The exposure time alone took 5-30 sec and if the subject moved the photo was ruined. Having multiple subjects in the picture frame increased time & process time and expense.

pls go learn something about photography1860's and stick to the fiddle.

  • one of our geatest tunes

  • Viola?

  • I love how when I look at songs that were ONCE anthems for a country or group and I look at the comments I see tons of people whining about that countrys or groups history. The American civil war ended in 1865 and from the moment I send this comment that was 145 years ago and you guys are whining about slavery and crap like that. This song was actually composed by a man from Ohio and he made it when he was in Ohio this is just a song it no longer represents anything. So stop bitching.

  • @aceme1 no that song still stands for the south,it may mean nothing to you but it is part of our heritage

  • God save the South!

    Greeting´s from Germany!

  • the south shal rise agian

  • Let's not forget that Kentucky is the center star on the flag.

  • Great rendition!

  • HEY COME WATCH MY LITTLE GIRL! TYPE IN MOLLY THE CUTEST BABY TALK EVER.

  • Hail Dixie!

  • SKEEWW REBEL!!! GOD BLESS THE CSA!! MAN KEEP ON DOIN WAT UR DOIN GOD BLESS ALL THE SOUTHERN STATES

  • is there any heavy metal version of this song (beneath the one of manowar)

  • the south will rise agin!!!

  • stfu I live in canada and listen to this song, and i dont give a shit who won or not.

  • nice!!!

  • wow that was great. i sure as heck wish i could do that. But lessons are surely one thing i cant afford right now.

  • hi nice playing (im from canada) lol

  • Amen Brother keep playing Dixie and the world will be a better place.

  • Away down South in the land of traitors, Rattlesnakes and alligators, Right away, come away, right away, come away. Where cotton's king and men are chattels, Union boys will win the battles, Right away, come away, right away, come away. We'll all go down to Dixie, Away, away, Each Dixie boy must understand That he must mind his Uncle Sam, Away, away, We'll all go down to Dixie. Away, away, We'll all go down to Dixie.
  • I wish I was in Baltimore, I'd make Secession traitors roar, Right away, come away, right away, come away. We'll put the traitors all to rout. I'll bet my boots we'll whip them out, Right away, come away, right away, come away. Then they'll wish they were in Dixie, Away, away, Each Dixie boy must understand That he must mind his Uncle Sam, Away, away, They'll wish they were in Dixie, Away, away, They'll wish they were in Dixie,
  • Oh, may our Stars and Stripes still wave Forever o'er the free and brave, Right away, come away, right away, come away. And let our motto ever be -- "For Union and for Liberty!" Right away, come away, right away, come away. We'll all go down to Dixie Away, away, Each Dixie boy must understand That he must mind his Uncle Sam, Away, away, We'll all go down to Dixie Away, away, We'll all go down to Dixie
  • you forgot the C Strain! its a fiddle solo haha

  • ...continued...sorry for my language. Please excuse me. I just feel strongly about the issue. I feel strongly about the issues of States rights. Living in California, I always here people say they are from this city or State, they have no loyalties to the U.S.A. in general and don't give a rats ass about their neighbors. I think the Southern States were more unified and had more dignity in general. This coming from a multi ethnic guy living born in los angeles. :)

  • I was born in los angeles & live in the San Fernando Valley, & you often see American flags. Not in Beverly Hills though. I've often wondered, Why more U.S. flags when you go thru white ghettos. in this area, the less educated slept thru class not knowing the wrongs that the U.S. flag represents. The flag of USA represents egotism, killing native americans, & the right to invade any country it wants. I wish I could burn every one of those mother-fu--er U.S. flags.

  • great

  • respect you!

  • nice job

  • GOD bless the south and all southern heroes. It is upon you to take over and lead your nation to the glory.

  • You represent our country(C.S.A.) well with your fiddle! Up the rebels down the... well Yanks!

  • Comment removed

  • This is wonderful musicianship.

I want to learn it for Cello.

  • Well played. Musicians are like magicians.

  • damn that was good hell yeah keep on playin man!

  • I love the song. You play well, but what I hate is the stereotype for southerners. I'm from New York, but people are always like,"You're all KKK!" which sounds really ignorant. Idk why people always say you guys are all obsessed with slavery. But, again, great playing!

  • For the love of God, will y'all stop throwing around the word socialism like you know what it means? Socialism and communism aren't terrible things; they just tend to attract corrupt politicians/dictators. Hell, if we were a socialist society we'd all be a helluva lot richer right now, the companies that own 95% of our wealth would have to give us a piece of the pie. The fact is we're stuck in corpratism: politicians will forever look out for big business before the people. For the South.

  • Dude. Nice.

  • omg didn't know what to expect, but am so dang impressed, yes i know i'm yank but my heart with always be with the south awesome

  • Nice.

    LONG LIVE DIXIE!!!

  • Awesome!! I know how to play Dixie too but in a simpler kids version lol cause that one is so fast xD but good job!!!

  • I love it!!!!!! keep up the good work.

  • Hot damn thats a fine tune on the fiddle, great job.

  • Wooo play it

  • I like the tune Dixie..but this redition has no sense of phrasing.

  • God bless the south :)

  • Wasn't Dixie written by a Yankee?

  • it was written by a yankee. Infact written by an Ohioan.

  • @bullyboy1863 gob bless all of the U.S.A

  • @metalhead9167 ah yes all of the USA. I'm sorry that was my confederate counterpart.

  • Awesome job! Thanks for posting this. Keep up the good work!

  • very nice man cool

  • nice fiddle

  • just some good ole southern pride

  • @xWolfxRisingx I wish i was in dixie

  • nice, man. I'd like to hear you slow it down a bit.

  • Deo Vindice

  • Absolutely!

  • @OldtimeFiddler Great job and Glory to you and Dixie Land. From Hobo Bill in in the great Southern state of North Carolina....

  • @OldtimeFiddler Výborne ! Slovensko zdraví

  • @wpittman31 I'm a die hard yankee, having served in the Navy and Air Force, and I like this. BTW, a lot of people on my mother's side were from Virginia. One of them fought for the south at Bull Run. I won't hold it against him..I love it down south. We're all Americans, after all. We always were, and always will be.

  • C.S FUCKING A , to arms in dixie! OORAH

  • Wow, for doing it by memory and then for just 10min ago, you did a good job :)

    love the fiddle

  • Retards like you are why if the South ever rose again, I'd vacate New England and be on their side. My pet fish is stupid, but you're stupider than my God damn fish, you ignorant motherfucker!

  • 56Stiffy...all you faggetts think is that ya'll are better than us in every way, you ain't so get over yourself gay ass...

  • Love a fiddle and the Confederacy! Great job!

  • Let the CSA rise again!!!!!!

  • I must confess that I was born in the north. WHen I was younger, I moved south and I have claimed it as my home. My home is North Carolina. May the CSA reform and claim what is rightfully ours to claim. My heart longs to return to North Carolina.

  • CSA will rise again and this time more states will join. Smaller countries are better off.

  • i think itll end up being citizens vs. government and their followers

  • the CSA can form again, and it may not be just the south this time. i think everybody is gettin pissed at obama

  • And I'd just assume not fight you materially obsessed, doomed, pretentious and ignorant northerners. I would much rather sit on my back porch and drink a tall glass of whiskey and play my harmonica than sit in traffic and freeze my ass off north of mason-dickson. You busy-body little fruit cakes have a predisposition toward being sketchy and shopping, so eat shit and go back to Detroit yank.

  • Buddy, I am not sure if your replying to someone elses comment, but I know the north won, thats why our country is about to become a Marxist Socialist nation where people have no liberty. But as to the Slavery issue, you people with only a Government education (public schools and no self taught info) have no clue what the Civil War was about! Trust me, it didnt start over slavery. And if it had, the south would have just pointed to the measures they were about inact that would free the slaves

  • Thank you, keep keeping the South alive!

  • @OldtimeFiddler Very much true my friend, Northerner here, and unfortunately all the public school push that the war was about slavery and freeing the slaves. Let's get a few things straight here: 1. the was not about slavery. 2. Lincoln only freed the slaves in the CSA. as a measure to slow down the south during the way. 3. Lincoln was actually in favor of slavery. 4. all slaves were set free afterward, only as a political move to stay in step with the rest of the world, and to make money.

  • @OldtimeFiddler yea people dont realize the civil war wasnt about slavery its didnt become about slavery until after the battle of antitum when lincoln signed the emacipation proclimation but not even then people should never be ashamed to fly the stars and bars

  • @randomname66666 i think you spelled antitem wrong lol :)

  • @OldtimeFiddler Amen brother

I was born in Scotland, raised in America from the age of 6 months I was taught about the Constitution,

Bill of Rights........Rights given by GODperiod.I love the USA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @OldtimeFiddler agreed!!!

  • @OldtimeFiddler I am a Marxist Socialist and i love the South! Deo Vindice.

  • @OldtimeFiddler finally someone who gets it!!!Thank God and bless you

  • @OldtimeFiddler Truer words have not yet been spoken .. Amen!!

  • @OldtimeFiddler Couldn't agree more

  • Claimed territory, dig up something on Missouri seceding and I'll give you a nickle stud.

  • LONG LIVE DIXIE

  • Joethepatriot aint joe the history major I guess. Kain'tuck and Missouri were unofficially claimed territories by the CSA, they never seceded from the union. I'm from Arkansas, which IS below the Mason Dickson line...so...SUCK IT!

And aminger1982, unless you can pilot a stealth bomber or an Abrahms tank, I wouldn't be talking to high and mighty about a 2nd round at rebel victory...

    Hooray for Dixie!

  • The Congress of the Confederate States of America do enact, That the State of Missouri be, and is hereby, admitted as a member of the Confederate States of America, upon an equal footing with the other States of the Confederacy, under the Constitution of the Provisional Government of the same.

    Approved November 28, 1861.

  • God save the Confederacy. Rise up ye abled bodied men agains the federal government (Obama) and this time lets all win this war.

  • CSA RISE UP against Obama or end up in a concentration camp!

  • The best thing about this Obama depression, is the yanks are all losing their jobs and moving back north. Leave, leave, leave liberal scum.

  • I hate liberals. When will the south rise again? The libs are destroying our America and we need to rise up and defend our country against the Communist libersls.

  • I say let non Southerners harbor all the misconceptions and sterotypes they have and continue to denigrate the South. Maybe it will prevent more people from moving here. We have quite enough already..I suggest you go to CA, AZ, NV.....anywhere but here.

  • i thought that it sounded nice, u get 5 * from me anyway :) and u chose a nice tune too. Keep on playing!

  • lets hear it for South Carolina, Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia, Florida, Texas, Louisianna, Tennessee, Virginia, North Carolina, and Arkansas! Long live the CSA!!

  • Dont forget Missouri. We were in the CSA too! I hope some day we will be restored. If not the traditional way, some way. I desire true freedom again.

  • amen my freind and i apologize i did forget yall, long live the CSA!!

  • Kentucky and Missouri were added to the CSA

  • border states yuck :P Im Floridian and thats just awful :P JK

  • the csa clamied them but they never officialy seceeded although a lot of the border state population sided with the south most notably Kentucky,Maryland, and Missouri

  • Exactly. 13 stars, KY and MO were included on the flag thank God.

  • @OldtimeFiddler LONG LIVE THE CONFEDERACY!

  • Southern Illinois supports, thats where my ancestors came from was the south.

  • @tbone891 Yup! We may not have been in the CSA and SIU attracts some libs, but besides them seems like most of us supports the South. What part of Southern Illinois are you from?

  • @OldtimeFiddler do you really remember the old times with true freedom? what bs...

  • Don't forget my great state (or should I say commonwealth) of Kentucky!

  • Amen brother! I cant believe we could even be part yankee the first time around. but its ok. the next time the south rises again well be full blooded Johnny Rebs!

  • @Johnny1861Reb Florida isn't a "Southern" state, no rednecks there, Florida is made up of Northerners, Cubans, and Europeans.

  • @Indestructible229 nah we still have northern florida and the panhandle

  • Awesome!!!Keep on rocking my friend!Best regards from the great north, strong and free!

  • There are many men and women that are not the stereotypical "wal-mart" losers in the old confederacy that still have great Southern pride and really care about what it is to be southern !!! "Dixie" stirs our soul , it reminds us not of slavery but of character !!! NEVER BE ASHAMED OF THIS SONG AND WHO WE ARE! WE WILL NEVER , EVER FORGET ABOUT WHO WE ARE OR WHERE WE CAME FROM . I AM PROUD TO BE FROM THE LAND OF COTTON.....

  • I think the best of the South died in the War for States' Rights. The South is full of 130 pound 'men' with half their teeth missing and scraggly beards and 200 pound women with five snot-nosed kids in tow. Check out any Wal Mart. Sad.

  • so northern walmarts are different? oh please....

  • Outstanding version. Great song written by a yankee in fact.

  • There is a great tradition of fiddle playing here in Scotland- but I love the dixie sound of this. Great job, lad.

  • no wonder dude ! native Southerners were the sons of Scotch-Irish immigrants, and the secession war in America against the Yanks was a continuation of the same war against the English invasion of Scotland & Ireland back on their old countries !

  • dont talk bollacks shelby4you you realy dont know whot your talking about

  • actually, that's what some historians say,i mean, you have to think about it and see facts, the two dominant ancestries in America were (and still) : the English in the northern part and Scotch-irish in the south. Wikipedia can teach you things !

  • 90percent of the irish stayed in new york and close to it so thats the north the english setlers was in the south so you wiky wotsit is talking balls have you ever wached a film called ganges of new york that will tell you more about the way things were than your wiky thing .all i was trying to say was the war was not a ongoing thing with the english and scot/irish it was a war over taxes not slavery or evan old scores the americans was robbing the south and only a few had food to eat thats all

  • Yes but many Scotch-Irish left their first settlements to go and live in Appalachia and headed south, that's why the accent, culture, music has always that Celtic "touch" in those parts, country music & Bluegrass for example are a true proof of the impact Scotch-Irish people have on these genres...

  • i completly agree there is a big side of the irish and scots but second and third genaration and also the cival war did a lot to split familys so dont forget that ....bye the way i love country music i am english in this life but im certain iwasnt once over that might sound daft but not to me could we be friends i will send you one any way its up to you if i dont hear i know i was wrong see you soon hopefully

  • Welcome dude !! i love country music too !!

  • you have no idea how much of a fan i am i cant sing but i did once try to do that one by garth brookes you know that realy fast one on harry cocy but it never worked i cant speak that fast never mind sing

  • Garth Brooks ain't my fav singer, i'm a big fan of Alan Jackson, he's more "country" you know, i like his voice and most of his songs are just ..great !

  • do me a faver and look on my page you will find some of the best allan jackson songs on there i was trying to send you one but it wont come up so there you go two peaple who could have started ww3 talking like we knew each other for ten years why cant heads of counterys go on youtube haha we would never see another war again or put them in the ring that sounds fair to me whot do you think hahaha

  • yep that's right ! i'll check your page now !

  • well I here live in what was once the great state of Texas and can tell you the majority of what she said was right, besides chechs, and germans

  • Comment removed

  • absolutely magnificent!!!!

  • I wish the South would have won because look at the coruption with race today. The blacks would have been freed any way by the south.

  • thank you! finally somebody thinks the same way i do

  • We loved your fiddle version of Dixie! Very well done, man!

  • Beautifully played.

  • By the way, I disagree with most lyrics, they say look away, the confederate anthem included to arms instead of look away. Conquer peace for dixie!!!

  • Hah?

  • Outstanding Outstanding

  • awesome!5stars

  • Excellent !

    +5 !
