i play a templar on a german aion server....and its called *festnahme* in german...dunno how it's exactly called in english. anyaway, it consumes not 3000 but 4000 dp and yes it is more a suicide skill xD. but when ur in a group of 6 peolple or so and u go farming some coins for quests at weak monster's spots then it's cool to pull a lot of them and have the gladiator do some insane crit aoe damage xD. the skill has 1 hour cooldown, though.

Its a DP skill, consumes 3000 DP i think, cant remember but its a given suicide skill every time :P remember, you pull your target, just like the Inescapable Judgment stigma, then you also pull ALL enemies within like 20 feet of that target. And they will all aggro at you, perhaps more useful in pvp actually. Its cool, but I cant find much use for it TBH. I mean, if you have to pull that many mobs, someone made a big mistake to begin with :P

im level 49 now and actually had 2 epic moments with this move.The first was a grp of asmos level 30 -40 that where at a stand off with an equal level grp of 10 elyos. I responded to the battle in LFG and showed up in the abyss and popped this move off. IT WAS BRILLANT!Not only did it grab most of the asmo but it stunned them too.We didnt kill them all but took down more than half of the force only to see them retreat n fly away.The other epic moment was me pulling the massive mob on upper SR

The point of this isnt aggro dimshits.

The point of this is in huge asmos vs elyos group, this prevents running away and lets sorcs and other damage dealers do massive AOE while you use your invulnerable skill. Sigh. People these days. SOOO DUMB... :P

It is used to crowd as much PvP players as possible, preparing them for hunter traps cleric dots and Mage aoe

I think it will be possible to own a whole alliance instant with the right combining of 4k dp class spells of 1 group

but this skills have 1h cooldown

have a higher crit rate. 4. the attack difference from great sword to 1hnd sword ratio is actually not that much, and the difference isn't even enough to compare to the damage done from a critical attack. 5. Having a shield increases block greatly and also (listen to this) has a Damage reduction % on it, so your taking that much less damage from the enemy. The attack difference isn't that much? Considering the level 25 green GS I had had more auto attack than a level 27 1 hand by almost a hundred? Yeah not a lot, considering when a GS has the ability to knock down when you do crit I've hit 800+ crits with that level 25 green GS. A GS is OPTIONAL if you use a GS you do it for switching between dps and defence, not just one or the other L2switch weapons.

A templar without a shield is like a fish out of water! many will argue that using a great sword is faster, but lets look as some facts here.. 1. At lvl 30 A templar will have about 5-6 seperate skills involving a shield. Shield skills do the most damage but need to be activated in most cases. 2. A 1hnd sword has a speed of 1.4 where as a great sword has a speed of 2.4.. 3. 1hnd swords have 50 crit auto on weapon while GS's have 10, this means a shield temp can dump stones on block and still

First off, shield skills do the most damage but they are usually one hit one time skills which the big problem is "they need to be activated". Second which addresses the first point. GS's are not used for normal DD GS's are used to get the most out of the sword skills, compare a one handed sword damage using those sword skills with an equal level GS using those skills tell me which does the most damage.

Well being a high defense/ high hp tank having 6 enemies is not the end of the world if you have to use this skill. Especially if u have massive heals and defensive skills going on in your group. But to answer the question I would use this skill to crowd control if we had massive adds or needed to grab alot of Asmos. You can even use it to harvest low level with a dps with aoe attacks, or maybe you need to just get everything away from someone you can just pull a large group to retain control...

probally better to have greatsword then shield when u wear white stuff but i use shield and sword and kill mobs lvl 1-2 above me till i ran out of mana

the great sword is there to kill mob faster when they are stunned and the first hit then u go back to shield

as a templar i have no issues with mana, and i can kill mobs 3 levels higher with a great sword

and tank two mobs at a time

Shield + 1h is better for grinding even. If u go with the 2h then u will loose many attacks and chains and u will be dooing some autohitting wich aint effective.

A 1h + shield with alot of + crit hit is the way to go.

The scout attacked the Templar then went invisible. So the Templar dragged all the hostiles in to attack the scout when the invisibility wore off. Just funny is all, seems like a couple went after him too tho.
