@LookAliveSunshine1 i know. i never really noticed it since i grew up on power rangers but when i started to watch Super Sentai my jr year of high school then see power rangers again i noticed. but sometimes it was kinda obvious Yellow Ranger from MMPR and Yellow from Wildforce

In the history of additional Rangers in Sentai, the first additional hero in the series was in Hikari Sentai Maskman (Light Task Force Maskman): X-1 Mask, who sported the scarf similar to the Showa Kamen Rider, minus Black and RX. But X-1 Mask was only in one episode of the show and soon departed. The first official hero was Burai, followed by Kibaranger. Kingranger, Mega Silver, and so on; but Gao Silver was the first sixth hero to be added to a Super Sentai opening, while the others didn't.

Super Sentai is too strong for Power Rangers to its mantle in the tokusatsu genre. First, Super Sentai began '75, a whole 18 years before Saban ever saw one single episode of Super Sentai. And also, Sentai is made for a more open audience: hell even old people in Japan watch Super Sentai, even teenagers. Power Rangers, a series, was set to begin with season 15 Jetman, according to documents that I read from Saban's company, and not Zyuranger in '92.

Had Saban debut Mighty Morphin Power Rangers starting with Fiveman, then they wouldn't had no trouble filling Trini and Kimberly since the yellow and pink ranger are both female in Fiveman.
