my great grand father felipe lucero used to own whitesands before the government got it. He owned 20'000 acres out there and he still has a lake there named after him
White Sands is a very beutiful and amazingsight to behold, I met my wife their. Also picnic at midnight on the sand dune with the glow of the moonlight.You would have thought it was daytime. if you ever read this Sarah I will always cherish our time at White Sands.
P.S. The second dunes on the left......... look for the toyoto.....................
I looooove the White Sands. They also have the park open extra long on the full moon every month. I been to one of those nights. One thing you have to experience before you die, that's for sure!

great idea. but shots cut too short, shuld linger w/ panning. music awful. bombast & fanfare is emotional. been 2 WS many tmes, natural sounds r stunning. full-moon shots, dawns & sunsets? terrific 1st try, i'm greatful. thank you.

Watching a Thunderstorm roll in around Sunset at White Sands is one of the most Spiritual things ever.
Sitting on the side of the mountains in Alamogordo and watching the Dust Devils near Sunset is equally amazing.

I have been to White Sands. Awesome experience. I went ~300 miles out of my way and didn't regret it.
